In their own words
I had a great experience with them 6 years ago, but it is not the same staff or quality of service. No semblance of customer service or courtesy. They did not call to confirm my move the day prior like I'd been told they would when I scheduled the appointment. They showed up 5 hours after my appointment with no courtesy calls to let me know there were delays. Every time I called and asked what the status was I was given wrong information.

Let me start off by saying I did not get the insurance. MISTAKE! I hired this company to move only the heavy items- furniture and appliances. There were only 2 gentlemen who were hired to do this job so it took much longer for them to move the items (I was expecting 3 men like was discussed) What should have taken maybe half the day turned into double the time. Also, turns out one of the guys moving my stuff was new to this job and didn’t know what he was doing.

I hired careful movers in 2021 to pack up my 600 square foot apartment. I realize that this review is many years late but I'm writing the review because I still haven't forgotten how terrible they treated me. The movers were supposed to be at my apartment at 1pm. They were 8 hours late, slammed the front door coming in and out of my apartment and were yelling in the apartment to each other.
I would not recommend this moving company based on my most recent experience. I have used this company for two previous moves, and those experiences went smoothly. Unfortunately, my last move was a completely different story. The movers damaged my newer refrigerator, leaving multiple dents on 3 sides. When they attempted to repair the damage, they left burn marks, making the situation even worse.
I would not recommend this moving company. My experience was extremely disappointing because they showed very little care or respect for my property. My refrigerator arrived with multiple dents, and my brand-new front door was damaged during the move. The damage could have been avoided if the crew had taken the time to remove the front door before attempting to move large appliances through the opening.
I hired this company to move from apartment to my new house. The movers that came over, they didnt really take care of my stuff or being professional about it. 6hrs later and $1,500 bill later I came to find out that my expensive stuff were chipped or broken. Now I'm trying to do a claimes report and they said " that I need to go through TXDMV to file my claimes. Here are some photos of my damage properties.

Used Careful Movers today and I was so impressed with the professionalism and work ethic of Clay, Ben, and Ben C. They worked nonstop and were very efficient. Everything was packed, unpacked, and placed with great care. They kept a very positive attitude throughout the whole process and were communicative. This is the best experience we've had with movers and a big thanks goes out to them and I'm appreciative of their hard work. 5/5

Hired this company to move some heavy items recently. Alberto and Joe showed up and texted updates, showed up on time and carefully moved the items with alacrity. We had a great experience with Careful Movers. Quick, efficient, and very helpful. And very honest as well! Anthony and Jose found an envelope of cash that my elderly parents had taped to the underside of some furniture long ago and forgotten about. They turned the cash over to us which was a wonderful surprise of course and so much appreciated. They also helped us troubleshoot a grandfather clock that they moved for us. We couldn't be happier with this company and heartily recommend them!

Jose and Jason showed up on time and ready to work. They were professional and polite the entire time. They took care to protect furniture and everything was moved without any problems.
