Scobey Moving & Storage

Unprofessional from the start, just from one of the movers. They were cussing on the phone with me, had a bad attitude, and was o the phone telling whomever that they were only about to work for 45 minutes and get on with their day. When knowing it’s about to be a lot longer than just 45 minutes. Same person didn’t really seem to care about our belongings. While movers were in my child’s room they broke something and placed it back so I didn’t even notice till after they were gone.

MILITARY Beware! Dishonest and unethical contract crews employed by Scobey. Watch out for Andrew Shoue and his crew that consists of his family (spouse, children, extended family). We had a 13 crate pack out / pickup for an OCONUS move. At one point Andrew’s crew made a “slide” on the stairs using flattened cardboard boxes which we thought was interesting/clever. This helped them send boxes from the four bedrooms upstairs very quickly.

Was scheduled for a 2 day pack and 1 day load. They were so efficient that they packed everything practically completed in just one day. I appreciate the efficiency and being approachable and informative. Thank you, Kyla and Randy. Edit: First day was great. Efficiency and customer service at its finest. Second day was cancelled-i was informed, I agreed, remaining items to pack was about 10% remaining. They were to come out a third day. Third day rolls around, HOURS LATE!

Do not even waste your time with this company. Schedule a walk-through with Brandon Davis, but he flaked. Decided to give him another chance. His quote was way higher than every other major professional, transportation, moving company. Not including brokers. When asked if we were going with him, my response was he is higher than the rest of the quotes that we’ve been given. His response back was “We will be the most expensive.

This is my 7th time PCSing (military move), I have to admit that this has been my worst experience. I hope this was just a bad day for Scobey Moving Co. and this is not how they operate. Pros: Packers arrived within the time window. Pros: They packed everything quickly and efficiently. Pros: My apartment was not damaged during the packing process.

My least favorite moving company. I had two individuals show up at my place (my place is a small 2 bedroom apartment) in the morning and I asked them where is the moving truck and they told me it will show up later in the day. They did not wear mask as they were suppose when there is a document that stated they had to. They didn't go over any documents with me, they went straight to packing.

My Yelp review for Scobey tells the whole story! I wouldn’t recommend Scobey, Central Storage or Move Masters to my worst enemy! We recently moved from Texas to Florida for my husband's job. We needed packing, loading, storage and delivery. The move went from bad to worse from the very beginning. Hoover, the sales rep, under estimated the amount of boxes, time and space in the truck we needed. This is our 13th move so know how it is supposed to go. Always have been two days to pack and one to load.

Unprofessional conduct and concealed property damage Scobey Moving delivered my household goods and caused real property damage to my wood floors in two bedrooms. Instead of acknowledging the damage or informing my wife at the time of delivery, the crew covered the damaged areas with furniture and boxes, effectively concealing it. My wife was home alone with two toddlers and had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. She did not unpack or move furniture after delivery.
