In their own words
Don’t be fooled by the name- they’ll move you quickly, but there’s nothing smart about it. All our furniture hardware was either put in the world’s most illogical place or lost entirely. Furniture was damaged or dented. Random items were packed together, as if someone wandered through the house picking up an item from each room. Then boxes were mislabeled. The majority were just marked miscellaneous, but there were kitchen items in boxes marked “books,” bathroom items in boxes marked “closet,” etc.

This experience was not what I expected based on the on the other reviews. This move was not cheap and they were a bit pushy about the tip when they first arrived. Also, they seemed to be a bit inexperienced because they didn't know what to do when they couldn't fit my couch up a flight of stairs, and it was then left in my apt parking lot. I had no way to move it.

I called Einstein moving company this morning for an estimate for a 2bd items to be loaded in the truck. I don’t really have a full two bedroom because it’s just a bed and a dresser and same as the other bedroom. I explained to the representative (never got his or I probably forgot it tbh), that I also have a loveseat couch and a medium TV stand… He informs me the estimate would be $900-$1,000, because it would take 4-5 hours to load and move it to its destination.
Hi Carmeroline, We are disappointed to see this review and apologize if there was some miscommunication on our end. We build our estimates based on what we see from a standard home you have. A typical two bedroom apartment can take two movers 3.5 to 5.5 hours to completely move.
Filled out request online. Called office the next day but was told everyone was too busy to take my call. Was told someone would call me back. It’s been two days and still no response.

Be AWARE: the pricing is scammy. I called and got a quote for $82.5/hour with a 2.5 hour minimum. I read these numbers and the total price back to Therese and she confirmed I had everything correct. It would come out to just over $206. HOWEVER, when I got an email confirmation that was full of standard BS, I actually took the time to read the fine print. It’s $82.5 per hour per MOVER. So it’s not $82.5 at all. It’s $165/hour and the email confirmation stated $800+ estimate.

Einstein packed boxes and moved me from SA to New Braunfels in mid-April. Today is June 23rd, and I still can’t find items and hardware/keys. Very disorganized move process, no tracking of boxes, and no indications of contents in each box. Also, boxes with items from the same room were placed in different, wrong locations in my new house. For example, one Master Bedroom box was placed in the Master Bedroom, but two others were placed in the office.

I moved from downtown riverwalk to an apartment near medical city and unfortunately I can not recommend Einstein moving company as they had changed the price from what was quoted to when it was all done. Then the movers left a piece of equipment at my old apartment that they needed to set up everything. I went back to get it but if I had to do it again I would choose another company or got PODs.

They BROKE an antique shelf off an armoire generations old and are REFUSING to pay damages!!!! Do NOT waste your money and your time with these losers. Get a reputable mover. I wish I had. They signed a contract for this type of situation and are refusing to hold up their end, 🤬🤬🤬 …

When we found our new permanent home, we believed we understood the challenge ahead. We were wrong. We needed help. I went to Reddit to see who the best movers for the San Antonio to Austin move. It was EINSTEIN MOVING COMPANY, name sounded cheesey but I gave it shot. We were met with service immediately, we got accepted within the next week for service! I had the pleasure of working with JON and CONNER for my move on May 30th, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I had a morning move, and they showed up right on time.
