We used Carey Allied Moving for our move from Sevierville, Tennessee to New Smyrna Beach, Florida from June 18th 2021 to July 3, 2021. This was by far the worst move we’ve ever had, and we’ve moved a considerable number of times. This is the first move we’ve ever made a damage claim but this claim was extensive and justified. This company should have whatever business license they have, revoked. They way under estimated the packing and load time. It is one of the most mismanaged companies I’ve ever dealt with.

This was by far the worst move we’ve ever experienced. Aside from Pat in the office, who is wonderful, the rest of the team was unprofessional. Our items were packed by Allied in California and every piece of furniture was expertly wrapped in blankets and then shrink wrapped. The team there was excellent. Our items were then transferred to Carey and were placed in storage in their warehouse for 5 months.

Carey Moving took care of my elderly dad's move from Tennesee to Texas. The two men who delivered his items did not wear masks even after I told them I felt very uncomfortable that they were not. I understand it is not fun wearing a mask, but for the safety of my elderly dad and the rest of my family, they should have worn one for the six items they moved in the house. Everything else went in the garage. Several boxes were not inventoried. My dad's chest of drawers was damaged, and I filed a claim.

I want everyone to know about my experience with Carrie Moving and Storage I bought a condo and Autumn path and when they moved the previous owner out they damaged my wall by knocking a door into the living room wall and scratched my hardwood floors up moving the owner out after months of talking to them and them sending a guy out off of Thumbtack to fix the wall and making it look like a five year old has been playing with Play-Doh my wall is still not fixed my floors they are denying they've even scratch them we…

Don't walk, run, run away, as far and fast as you can!!! We paid over $15K to move 2 bedroom suites, one couch, 2 chairs with ottomans, 2 coffee tables, assorted office furniture, a handful of other items, and many boxes halfway across the country. We did not move any dining room furniture, washer/dryer, refrigerators or other typical larger household items. While the price seemed exorbitant for the amount of stuff we were moving, that was NOT the biggest problem.

Use this company once before day 1 they were amazing day 2 complete 180. They were rushed to put everything into the new house very unorganized, took apart furniture from the old house and left it unbuilt in the new house and never came back to put it back together, so now it’s like figuring out a puzzle since we weren’t the ones that took it apart.

Worst move by far. Lost my table that has been on more than 10 moves in the past. Broke a TV, broke a marble table. Broke another coffee table. Outsource their moves. Were supposed to pack the day before with several movers. Instead made the driver pack up a 5000 sq Foot house by himself. Way too much for one person. Move was not a rush. Poorly planned and excuted. All the parts as a result were separated in unmarked boxes. Packed a broken table top with a good one.

We called them to get an estimate about our move and what it would cost our family. Some guy named Walt came to my house and spoke to my wife about everything. Come the time to tell him we are not using their services , Walt slammed his book on my dinning table and gave my wife a horrible attitude... I want everyone to know about this guy and how unprofessional his attitude is and was towards my wife. He's lucky i was't home for it.

The crew and David did a great job on a 3-hour pack up of 60 boxes and 69 items of furniture. They were on time, efficient, and courteous throughout the move. I felt they took special care with our hardwood antique furniture and other fragile items and were careful not to damage carpets or walls during the move. Some items were being left for a later move, and all crew members made sure they understood which those were. David communicated well regarding the inventory, process, and next steps.

I vetted several companies for my move before deciding on Carey Moving and Storage of Knoxville. They are affiliated with Allied Van Lines. I confess I was a bit unsure when I was referred to Carey instead of Allied but then understood Carey would handle the local move. The estimator was responsive and accurate. When my house went under contract much sooner than expected moving up my move date, Carey’s team worked hard to find me a slot on very short notice. They arrived on time.

My experience with Carey Moving & Storage was good. They coordinated moving my 1 BR apartment over 2000 miles and helped the scheduling go smoothly even when there was a hiccup - My Allied driver called me and requested a Sunday pickup (not in the contract window), then called the day before and wanted to change plans and pick up Tuesday. I had already made arrangements for Sunday and was going to be gone by Tuesday.

I had a short-notice request come up and called Carey Moving and Storage of Knoxville to see if they would be able to assist. Within 3 days, I had a truck with 3 staff members on-site to help me pack up 6 offices full of furniture, and relocate them to a storage unit. The team was nothing short of remarkable. They were on-site, extremely polite and professional, quick workers who took good care of our items, and conducted all their moves with extreme care.
