AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I booked my move from Ontario to Alberta with Centennial Movers based on positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but positive. Upon delivery, I found my sofa—barely a year old—ripped. I had specifically requested extra moving blankets in advance via email and paid an additional fee for extra insurance to protect my valuables. Despite this, the company is refusing to acknowledge responsibility.
Dear Hafiz, Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that our movers noted and documented a pre-existing rip on the sofa at the time of pickup.
My first move with this company two years ago was satisfactory. However, their service has deteriorated significantly since then. They now (for my second moving)have too many customers and have become sloppy. Delivery times are excessively long, they’re taking more than FIVE WEEKS !!!!!. They simply take your belongings and store them, causing frustrating delays. I do not recommend using their services. Reply to centennial: My job’s under my husband name..
Dear Haidy, We are sorry to hear you had less than excellent experience with us, however we could not find any record of you in our system. If you had booked a job with us under a different name, please do not hesitate to reach out, so we can promptly address all of your concerns.
Avoid at All Costs! I had an absolutely terrible experience with this company, and I want to warn everyone: they are scammers! They lure you in with a seemingly reasonable price, but once they have your items, they attempt to charge you triple what they initially quoted. It’s a classic bait-and-switch tactic. They clearly try to exploit their customers and take advantage of their trust. Save yourself the headache and the money—do not use their services! There are plenty of honest businesses out there.
We strongly disagree with this review and feel it is important to clarify the facts for the sake of transparency and our future customers. This client submitted an intentionally underrepresented inventory list to receive a low quote—what was presented at booking turned out to be only a fraction of…

Centennial Moving was great for my move from Toronto to Alberta. Movers were prompt, professional, friendly, efficient, and handled everything with care both packing and unloading. The administrative staff was also friendly, professional, and courteous, with great communication. Delivery was sooner than expected and everything arrived as packed and in perfect condition. I would definitely use Centennial again, as well as refer them to anyone requiring a cross country move.

Our move was from Canada East (a port city) to a city within Metro Vancouver in Canada East in May 2025. Different than other movers which initially gave relatively lower $/lb quotes but with an absence of other fees, Centennial provided a full list and transparent quote which reflected an estimated costs and the projected final cost of a move. We preferred a transparent deal than any surprises like additional or unexpected costs.

Centennial Moving was beyond amazing in helping me with my move from Vancouver to Calgary, that was complicated by a month long delay due to an accident I had a day before relocating. Ian Peterson was the main representative I was working with but there were countless others part of the larger team that made my move as smooth and seamless as possible. Recovering from surgery, this team truly made it so that I had one less thing to worry about.
Dear Jacinda, We're delighted to receive your positive review! It's wonderful to hear that our moving services exceeded your expectations. Our team takes pride in providing excellent service, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
