In their own words
Movers showed up with my household goods at noon. Overall they were professional and respectful. However they were trying to complete the job (unload, unpack, and reassemble) in one day. Pack out and load took three days for context. At 6:30pm I asked them to wrap it up and come back tomorrow since they were not done unloading and had not started unpacking or reassembling.
Horrible packers, horrible leadership. In over 20 years of moving with the Military, this was most unprofessionally handled pack out. On destination, multiple items broken, not inventoried and not packed appropriately. The guy who came to do the pre-move inspection misrepresented himself as the owner of the company. Packers were slow and missed obvious things that needed to be packed. Family heirlooms ruined. There was one guy out of the crew who was trying to lead the team and was doing the best he could do.
Having done several moves across the country, I’ve had the worst experience using this company. This has been the only time where things have gone missing in over ten years of being moved by contractors. And of the four things missing, one was a double dresser. How do you lose a double dresser?! It’s not very inconspicuous. And to top it off, good luck trying to get a hold of anyone from the office so you can schedule a carton and paper pick up.
Scheduled an in person walk through to get a quote and was completely ghosted. No call, no show at our scheduled time. I can't imagine booking with this company after that.
Not a good experience! Sales person (Jimmy) was great. He came out as scheduled and gave an estimate promptly. We scheduled for two day move, pack day 1, load, move and unload day 2. Jimmy made a point of explaining that anything I did myself would save me money, so I made a point to pack and move as much as possible the weekend before our scheduled move. I texted Jimmy the weekend before our move and let him know that I got a lot done and that we could probably do the move in a day.
I had this company move me last year in May. While packing my house one of their employees did not put a protective covering on my table while placing framed pictures on the table. This resulted in a scratch on my dining room table. When I contacted they company about their employee negligence and the result of the scratch they told me it would be covered under the insurance. I discussed with the owner that he should repair the table since his employee did not take precautions to protect my table.
They handled my military move. They just threw things into crates and sent it on the way. When the truck arrived the first crate was spilled over. It bent my smoker in three different places. They stored my lawn mover upside down and oil got all over my lawn furniture. Multiple totes destroyed. By far my worst military move.
Warehouse manager seems to be a little unhinged with violent tendencies. Unable to carry on a normal conversation at all. Maybe I just caught him on a day he skipped his meds or something but I would Not recommend doing ANY business at this location. (Actually physically threatened me while yapping like a lil chihuahua).

In their own words
Wow! We have moved every 5 years and this company clearly does it best. From the minute we received a reasonable quote from Jimmy to the A team crew that packed us and moved us, they made this move easy! The were on time, competitive, friendly, efficient and some of the most professional guys I’ve ever worked with. They were extremely careful at protecting our old home for the new buyer and used the utmost care with every item they touched.
%username, thank you for the great review and rating. It was a pleasure working with you and the communication you kept with us was tremendous as well. Thank you for your business and your referrals.
I coordinated my elderly parent's long-distance move from out of state. The Centurion team did everything to ensure it was a great experience. Jimmy, the move coordinator, was super helpful, responsive, and professional. His initial estimate was the lowest out of five estimates, and the actual cost came within $40 of the estimate. The packers and loaders (Robert, Gage, Gordon) went way above what I've experienced in the past with prior moves. They really cared and treated my dad's things as if they were their own.
Thank you for taking the time to rate our moving service and give us this great rating! It was a pleasure to work with you and your family with you move!
I got put in a bind by a company that didn’t show up ( First National Van Lines) and they went above and beyond to accommodate. Jimmy got me fast fair quotes at a very reasonable price and was great to work with. I went with another company just becuase of timing but they made a bad situation much much better. Great people to work with.
Thank you for taking the time to rate our moving service and give us this great rating! It was a pleasure to work with you and your family with you move!
Centurion Moving & Storage is the best moving company my wife and I have ever worked with out of 3-4 other local moving companies we’ve hired over the years. Jimmy scheduled an appointment to visit our residence to provide us with a quote and answer all of our questions prior to the actual move date. Robert and his crew did an incredible job, working both quickly and carefully.
David, thank you so much for the great rating and amazing review of our team! We pride ourselves in being respectful and doing a great job whether the move is local or long-distance like what you experienced.
