Worst experience ever. I have always use local movers, but they were unable to move me this day. So I took a reference from my sister. I was balling my eyes out by the end of this experience. I’m a single mom. I budgeted for 2 hours max. Knowing really...it should only take 1. I put everything in my 2 bedroom apartment in the living room. There was no couches or tables to move in this process.
Someone needs to re teach one of their employees about customer service and respect. Had two gentleman move my brother into his apt downtown, the younger guy was awesome the older man was rude the entire time Telling my brother he’s going to need to break the computer desk to get up the fire escape instead of just walking to the front door where it would fit. Also told him his computer desk was not good quality so if it breaks it’s not their fault then said do you understand. Then to complain about it being hard.
Over 2 hours late. But the issue is they ruined the sofas they were paid to move and claim it must have had a 4 inch tear prior to them moving it. They left the seat cushions upside down after moving it (they are one-sided cushions) but …
Terrible consideration for property and complete lack of accountability. The crew padded their time, showed disrespect, and damaged a lovely old wicker chair then refused to admit it. I wasn’t even asking for reimbursement, just honesty and accountability, but instead I was called a liar. When I brought this up to the owner, he became aggressive, saying “If we were face to face you wouldn’t talk this way, you liar. I know my guys they don’t break shit.” As if it’s impossible for a moving crew to make mistakes.
Would give 0 star if possible. Unprofessional people both movers and management who have no idea how to interact with people, the movers were very rude when we asked them to not use the front door of our house since it had "WET PAINT" on …
Edit: Not only did they pad their time. They put heavier boxes on light boxes. Since you carried them up one by one, you knew the difference. Thanks for breaking my things after charging me $1550 for a $500 job. …
Less than 1 star.. the guy threaten to beat us up and he was the owner. This guy was a real peace of work, talks with a speech impediment. Mr. Tough guy, likes to run his mouth.. Go with someone else..

I had a great experience with Chet’s moving! They arrived about 10 minutes early got right to work moving and were careful with my antiques! They moved everything into my new house where I wanted it. Nothing was broke. Nothing was scratched! They really hustled, the younger two guys would even jump up on the ramp so they didn’t have to walk all the way around to go up it. Before they left, they asked if I needed anything moved or rearranged and I did and they moved it with no hesitation or complaints.
I've used Chet's twice, one being today, to move furniture in my house--changing rooms and bringing a queen-sized bed from the basement to the upstairs. Nick and Scott did a fantastic job, careful, efficient and very pleasant. I will ask for them the next time I need something done. I highly recommend Chet's for any moving, whether it's within your home or out of your home.
We used Chet’s for our moving needs from one home to another within Lincoln! They were all pleasant guys and very hard working! They work together as a team. Mike was more than accommodating with our change of plans and schedules! I would highly recommend Chet’s for any and all moving needs!
Great group of guys who are efficient and personable. I can’t recommend these guys enough. Other moving companies in town make you rent your own truck. Chet’s has everything to help with your moving needs! Plus I can’t believe how fast they were!
