Although the move itself was well organized, with very good communication, and friendly staff, my tv was damaged in the move. I understand the risks involved with moving, especially with large flat screens, so I wasn’t even that upset about the fact that it happened. I reached out to City Movers to explain the situation, which in turn referred me to their insurance claim provider, and this is really the biggest problem I have with this company.
Dear Nicolas, please allow me to explain, that this is not really our fault. 1. Movers told you that there TV cannot be moved without protecting it. However, you refused to protect it and signed a Waiver of Liability, that limits our legal liability to 0.6$ per LBS, which was explained to you…
Extremely Disappointed – Lost My Belongings and No Accountability I moved from Miami to Los Angeles with City Movers and honestly, I’m very disappointed with how things turned out. They lost one of my boxes that had valuable items — books, a $1000 speaker, a keyboard, mouse, projector, and cables — worth around $2000–$2500 total. It’s been a week since delivery, and it doesn’t look like they’re going to find it.

Extremely unprofessional movers, very slow service, they quote you a price then take forever and charge you lots more. Worst company I’ve ever used. Paid for items to be packaged and they were not careful at all. Beware! Most of these reviews are fake, notice they only have 1/2 reviews and most are the workers. 😒
Thank you for providing your feedback about our moving company. You were verbally and in writing explained the cost of the move and terms which you signed for. All moves are a subject to hourly charge and we charge for whatever amount of hours it will take as per local and federal guidelines.
Stay away! I was charged 11 hours of work just to move out from a 3 BR having packed all my personal belongings myself beforehand. Movers finished wrapping my furniture on the curb after the building kicked them out of the loading dock because they had to close. Boxes and furniture coming back from their ‘storage’ unit were FULL OF COCKROACHES. They won’t let me access to my items remained in their storage unless I pay for accessing.
With all due respect, your accusations are entirely false. The initial move took 11 hours as you did not completely pack your miscellaneous items, and the crew packed an additional 35 boxes for you.
Used this company in Boca Raton. Don't use them! They damaged a lot of my furniture. They lost two boxes. They told me to put in a claim and after 3 months they were giving me $100.00 dollars instead of compensation me for my loss.

I called City Movers to schedule a move in 3 days and they immediately accommodated my request on such a short notice. The person who scheduled my move also had great communication with me throughout the whole process. The movers were punctual and very professional on the day of the move. I’ve had really bad previous experiences with moving companies, but this company really did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them to anyone! They were quick but also very careful.

I booked a local move and the representative Jane was very responsive and helpful when I needed to reschedule. On move day, Dimitri and Carlos showed up to the loading site early and got straight to work. They did a fantastic, professional job. The whole move was done faster than I could have hoped and it was great value for great service. Highly recommend.

Hello, I wanted to reach out to everyone about the extremely positive experience I recently had with a moving company, City Movers, out of Miami, Florida. I normally do not write reviews, but in this case, I felt it necessary. I bought a sectional sofa , coffee table, conference table and chairs for my office on Craig’s List. I called a couple of moving companies, but when I spoke to City Movers, they presented me with the best plan of action.
