Classic Movers

I can’t even put into word how disappointed I am with my experience. First, the movers showed up two hours past the arrival time window and did not communicate about the lateness until I reached out and asked where they were. Secondly, they broke a piece of my nice furniture with no offer for compensation. Third, when attempting to move my bed/box spring down the stairs they claimed they could not get it down stairs after a few minutes of huffing and puffing.

This was my first time ever using a moving company and it went pretty well. My movers Nikita and Faizulla did great swift work, they had everything packed up just under 2 hours! They were great and properly wrapped and packed everything up. My only issue is when I called previously to get a quote I specified the pick up and drop off location as well as how long the packing should take (2 hours, which the movers were within) and was quoted $505.

I wouldn't recommend this company. You can definitely tell these are are paid by the hour as they are slow and took 10 hours to move. Plus when they left to "get some food quick" they disappeared for over an hour with all my stuff in their truck. The move took them two short trips as both destinations were within 5 minutes from another. First trip they wrapped all my furniture and used blankets. However on the second trip, they were in such a hurry they they didn't wrap anything including my dinning table.

We used this company for our move last Sunday. Here is a few reasons why I gave this company a 1 star rating. 1. They are not equipped to move big houses since their biggest truck is a 24 footer. They had to call another truck that came with an extra guy at 55$ an hour plus an extra 250$ for gas and insurance. He only came with a 20 footer. 2. We had NO appliances to move ex: fridge, stove, washer, dryer etc.. and still they weren't able to bring everything to our new house.

For $3800, movers took their time. The initial quote of $600 ballooned to $4100, later reduced to $3800 after negotiation. This massive price hike caused significant stress, especially when the owner demanded immediate payment without offering a payment plan. While relatively professional, the movers had a noticeable odor issue and were excessively slow in packing and unpacking. Their truck broke down, requiring me to boost it with my car.

The two young men that helped me were very helpful at the beginning of my move. Once they got to the location, their boss was calling them every minute to hurry up and leave for another job. That meant the men were rushing, even willing to leave all my stuff wrapped in the blankets to expect me to un wrap and leave blankets to come back another time. I was very unhappy about this and told the men so.

I am finally getting around to providing a review. Terrible experience! Same move within a few months and they charged us almost double and took double the time!!! Argued with us on the phone for well over an hour telling us there’s a new mover on the crew and that’s why, but that was NOT our problem! Also a lot of my belongings were damaged. Weber BBQ (brand new) Griddle wheels broken, just not careful at all. Would definitely not recommend!

Not professional, showed up late, said they would be in a truck with drop sheets and moving straps, all 3 came in a small car. Hired for 2 hours, only worked less than 1.5 hours. They dragged my furniture across my pod, banged up stair railing and walls. Gave specific instructions which they just ignored. Hygiene was very poor. So not happy.
