I recently had two employees, Christian and Christopher, come to my home to pick up items for storage. While they handled my belongings with care, their behavior was extremely unprofessional. During the job, they were openly joking about drug use and speaking in a way that was completely inappropriate for a work setting. More concerning, I noticed that a brand new pair of sneakers from my collection is now missing. This has raised serious concerns about accountability and trust.
My experience with Clutter has been consistently disappointing. Over two years, I utilized their services for storage and three separate deliveries. Unfortunately, each delivery resulted in extensive damage to my belongings, with items arriving scratched, dented, and in some cases, destroyed. They have caused thousands of dollars of damage, even to items that they packed or wrapped themselves.

Horrendous customer service and the furthest thing from a personalized moving solution. My move was unexpectedly rescheduled the day before the busiest moving day in NYC, leaving me scrambling to find a way to move before my lease ended. Customer service offered no condolences, no concessions or any recourse to remediate the situation whatsoever. I was told to “submit a claim form” and someone may look at my situation. If you’re looking for a reliable, competent, moving and storage company, look elsewhere.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Two of our items (bookshelf and large jewelry case) arrived damaged and discolored (from white to purple) from the very poor and sloppy packing job. The movers were in such a rush to leave our house that they did not undo the cloth packing materials that they needed to take back with them. Do not spend your money on this company.
