This was by far the worst move we’ve experienced—and unfortunately, we’ve had some bad ones. I’ve never taken the time to write a review before, but this experience with Coleman was so disappointing, I felt it was necessary to share. The problems began during the packing phase in Florida. One of the packers, Erika, was incredibly unprofessional and slow. When my wife and I provided pizza for lunch as a courtesy, she actually complained about it.
I had a very poor experience with Coleman moving services. I was able to get my quote and my belongings were packed by their contracting company, Allied Vans, without issue. They state that they have a guaranteed delivery range date within a certain spread. For us, it was 3-14 days. Be careful as this is not a guarantee (they offer 100 dollars/day if delayed). I had to call the move coordinator numerous times to get any update regarding our belongings.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but the experience my family had with this moving company was unacceptable and needs to be shared—especially for any other military families considering using them. After being without our household goods for over four months, we finally received our shipment. However, what should have been a smooth delivery quickly turned into a nightmare. The moving crew tried to leave without unpacking any of the boxes, even though unpacking was clearly part of what the Army paid them to do.
Unfortunately Coleman unloaded and unpacked my goods on a recent move and I had items stolen from my home. When I called Coleman to discuss this, they had zero interest in identifying who they had hired and stolen items, and only recommended I call the police. While I understand that it is a crime and involving the police makes sense, you’d think the company would take more interest in understanding who on their team is stealing. I won’t use Coleman again.
Where do I start. Travis walked my property then fell ill or something so I got Tony in sales. Guy couldn’t be any more full of it. Changed my contract and sent it to me without telling me which was in there favor. Dude didn’t price match …

My wife and I own a move management company in KC. Part of our job is to coordinate with movers. We have worked with many moving companies in KC. Coleman/Allied in Shawnee is ELITE. We work with Travis Talley (moving consultant) directly and he is the best. Always professional, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. Both Anthony’s were fantastic and super careful covering every piece of furniture and then also covering the floor and making sure I was comfortable during the entire visit since I’m a single female by myself. They walked me through everything and got all my furniture set up in my new house and it looks fantastic! Travis also did a great job coming out to my home for the initial interview and I’m so glad he did because it helped me feel more comfortable about the movers coming the following week.
