This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I am now confident that I will never use this company again. My move in August 2025 was disastrous from start to finish. The movers repeatedly forgot items; some of my furniture was left behind and not unloaded at my home. Additionally, they damaged my dumbbells and lost the key to my clock. Despite paying for insurance, they refused to honor any claims or accept responsibility for the damages and losses.
We had no record of a customer by this name, or an employee named Dylan. Shortly after this review was posted, our office received a text message from an offshore number asking for $600 to take this review down.
We were quoted a for a one bedroom, one bath prepacked apartment for three hours, totaling $700. The location from A to B was less than 4 miles away. The team of two ended up going three hours over estimated times for a total of six hours costing us almost a $550 more than initial quote.

Terrible people not professional at all I was judged based on appearance before I could talk wasted both our time but it was obvious my apearence was not the only problem bad communication and people skills gill picks and choose his men but I promise they can’t work harder then me and people love me with my tattoos and all because most give me the opportunity to talk and see sad company
Orlando, great to meet you my friend, and we regret that you are unhappy with your interview. As we explained, prominent face and front of neck tattoos are not allowed under our dress and appearance code, so we were not able to consider you as a candidate.
We paid $1500 (they quoted $1050) for an incomplete job. They were taking so long we had to stop them and move what they had already loaded. They insisted on going around the entire building rather than prop some doors open (which is what I personally did with a U-Haul when I moved in).
Jake, we regret you are unhappy with your move. When you booked, you shared you were in an elevator building, but did not disclose that there was 300'-400' of walking distance to the parking area.

My experience with College Hunks Moving was 10/10. I have moved every year for the past 12 years and I have had both good and bad experiences with moving companies. For starters, College Hunks is a well established and organized company. It's not just a couple of dudes showing up to your house to help you move. They are PROFESSIONAL movers.Their service was up to par with some of the best moving companies I have used in the military and government sector for relocation.

*Update* Just finished up a move with Gabe and his team- once again they knocked it out of the park! Each member was professional and quick. It was a great experience with everything explained upfront. We made sure to have a game plan before moving anything and did complete walkthroughs to make sure nothing was missed. They had great attention in packing and making sure everything was safe and secure from point A to point B. Superb team and experience!

This was the first time I ever got junk removed, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The price was incredibly affordable at $200 something, considering I had entire rooms worth of stuff (a twin sized bed frame, matress and box spring, a medium sized desk, a small bookshelf, a small standing fan, and a couple small folding tables). There was an added $13 charge for the matress and box spring, which is so understandable and quite cheap! They told me all of this beforehand and kept to the quote.
