***See update below!! It gets worse!!*** I recently moved from a 1-bedroom apartment to a single-family home just 10 miles away, and it was the worst moving experience I've ever had. Despite having all my boxes packed and ready, the two young movers seemed either hungover or high, moving incredibly slowly. What should have been a quick and easy move ended up taking over 8 hours. When I asked them to pick up the pace, they completely ignored me.

Edit: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. I have been back and forth for months trying to recoup some of the $900+ they charged me after being an hour late, still charging me the full time (they claimed they tried to contact me, I had no missed calls), damaging my furniture, and taking my building key which I was charged for. The movers tried to play nice and said if I left a 5 star Google review they’d knock 30 mins off my time. Surprise - they did not.

Despite being warned from other movers that I got quotes from, I decided to use these guys. Huge mistake! Day of move you sign and initial (First time in my life I actually listened to what I was initializing instead of reading). Your stuff is worth .60 cents per pound. The guy told me they were insured and would fix what they break. He also told me someone would be coming next day to help me with anything that broke. WRONG!
Michael, I know this move had some accidents that happened while moving everything into your new home. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and your family and for the miscommunication from the movers thinking that someone would be out the next day for repairs.
I rarely leave public reviews and prefer to resolve issues privately. Unfortunately, Meridian Movers left us no choice. We interviewed seven moving companies and chose Meridian Movers because they confidently assured us they were fully capable of handling our move, including relocating our hot tub. That confidence turned out to be completely unfounded. They arrived late on moving day, immediately setting the tone for a disorganized and inefficient experience.

Review for Meridian Moving & Storage – A Cautionary Tale I used Meridian Moving & Storage for my move and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a service provider. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Unprofessional Behavior and Property Damage During the move, two movers got into a disagreement while handling my TV. Instead of working together to carry it properly, they let it slide down my newly renovated staircase, causing visible scratches on the flooring.
STAY AWAY!!! DISHONEST!!! In all of our moves over the years we have never experienced anything like what happened with this company. The owner, Morgan should be out of business by now. They give you a fair estimate and then after coming to your home, make you sign over 10 pages and will not lift a finger until you sign. Then they start the extortion process. They also are allowed to use DISHONEST methods by movers demanding cash for certain items moved.

DON’T TRUST this company! Hired for a simple move! Had everything we requested to be moved taken apart and awaiting to be put on truck upon their arrival in the garage, they decided to use front door probably to just extend time and money! They take their time, super slow (ring doorbell to prove it) over wrap and ignore the requests of the client! We asked for items not to be wrapped at least 3 times to both movers yet they continued!
Kimberly, From the crew directly, the garage wasn't as easily accessible due to corners we would have need to maneuver around. Our team does NOT try to extend the time - the movers we sent you are following company protocol, which is to protect your items and your furniture from being damaged.
We used them a week ago, the owner is very responsible, he called to confirm to make sure all the information and details were correct; the guys were professional, worked hard and were polite. But, we didn't know they don't own the truck, so we ended it up paying them 1 hour and half more for them to go get the U Haul truck and to return it and plus the truck rental fee.

We recently moved and used Meridian to get us to our new home! Our old home was FULL of stairs and the team was amped and ready to go despite the difficult moving environment. Eli and Gage were the team leads and were professional and good at communicating to the team and each other. I heard them being kind to one another while having some silliness and jokes to make the day light hearted. They made every attempt to wrap all the furniture well and with tons of padding.
I had an amazing experience with Meridian Moving and Storage! My movers — Mike, Zach, and Orlando — were absolutely fantastic. They showed up right on time, were incredibly professional, and handled everything with great care. They worked efficiently, packed and moved everything smoothly, and made what could have been a stressful day completely stress-free. Mike, Zach, and Orlando were friendly, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly where I wanted it.

*** ETA: I thought on this more. I firmly believe this company and it's movers are excellent. They are also far superior to any movers I've used in Denver. Be warned, they are expensive and the cost of materials is non-negotiable and adds up fast. It added nearly $500 to our bill. Though they did a great job and everything was well cared for, if I wasn't getting reimbursed from my insurance company, I think I'd be a bit upset.
I was initially nervous to hire a moving company being a single mother of two kids. There’s not a lot I can get done on my own! But I have to say, Meridian Moving & Storage absolutely exceeded my expectations. The three movers they sent were nothing short of amazing. They were professional, efficient, and really knew what they were doing. They made the whole moving process so much easier for me.
