I used Eden Prairie College Hunks to load my moving truck. They were hundreds over their quote. The 2 personnel showed up reeking of cigarettes and body odor, and both said this was their first job of the day. I had to keep stepping into the truck to alter their load because they way they loaded it would have damaged my furniture and items. I called their home office to discuss going way over their quote and lack of professionalism, they never called me back.

I chose this company because of the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience has been very frustrating. On January 19, 2026, I called to get a moving estimate. I was told there was only one spot available for that Saturday and was encouraged to reserve it. I was also told that if I found a more affordable option, I could cancel the same day and receive a full refund of my deposit. Later that same day, I found a more affordable moving company and called back to cancel my reservation.

You decide if this is a coincidence. FACTS: 1. Location of my storage units, in 2 separate locations, is only known to me and College Hunks moving. NO ONE else knows my exact units. 2. Days after my move, which the movers brought items to both units, so saw what was inside, there is damage to the doors. The storage garage has a bolt cutter proof padlock on it. (Guessing that was a surprise) The other unit is from a large storage facility with hundreds of units. (see pictures) 3. Only my units have damage.

They didn't send a big enough truck. It's not like I told them the size to bring either, they sent a dude to my house beforehand to look at all my stuff and tell me what size truck I need. Then on the day of they sent two small trucks and filled them up and just left the rest of my stuff at my old house. I called to complain and (after waiting a week to hear back and then calling again) the guy basically said that it's my fault for signing off that the move was complete.
Max, We sincerely apologize that you did not have a better moving experience. It is always our goal to provide a stress-free junk haul or move and we are very sorry this was not the case for you.
I believe this is the company that charged a family $1500 dollars to rehome their nice but not needed items, but instead you hauled them to a dump and it was all destroyed?
Hello, Starry Starry Night. Thank you for reaching out. We are both in the same franchise system, but our location, Eden Prairie, operates under different ownership and management. After learning about the story on Tuesday, we posted the below information to our facebook page on 20 August.
Was quoted half of that they charged me. They messed up my carpet in my new house. Someone used my downstairs bathroom and flooded my bathroom.
We’re very concerned to read this and would absolutely want to address it — however, after searching our entire client database, we are unable to locate a customer under the name listed in this review.
Very disappointed with the service and pricing. Was charged $300 for use of a truck that was not needed for moving items within the home

WOW, Wow, Wow!!!!! What a great experience! We needed a three bedroom move. From the moment I called to get an estimate I knew I had made the right choice, the process to get an estimate and schedule was super easy and painless. The communication before the move was excellent, they called/texted the day before to confirm. And then the crew called/texted the morning of to say they were on their way. Oscar and Del are two exemplary individuals who are the example of what good movers do.

Updated - The positive of this post is crew themselves being extremely friendly, the house got moved, and growth and improvement are able to be provided... The final total had a variance of 36%+. There were boxes unlabeled, laundry basket with clothes left in the garage next to tools and gas, we've had to move multiple boxes from different floors, etc, bc of disorganization of ZERO labeling. This has been discussed and reviewed with operations on streamlined improvements with training.
