College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving Gig Harbor

Worst experience ever. The crew that did my move didn't seem to know what they were doing. I could have done a better job myself. I had nice furniture and they damaged at least 8 pieces with scratches and dents. They did not wrap the furniture in blankets and just piled it all up in the back of the truck. I had a perfect $3,000 refrigerator that now has about 6 dents in the doors, one of which is about 8 inches long.

I wish I had read other reviews before I hired this company because if I had I would have been prepared for the scam that is their pricing system. Here's how it goes: they quote you a fabulous price, for me it was $668 to move a piano from my house to a storage unit, then on the day of the move they have you sign a non-binding estimate clause in the contract where, if you read the fine print, it says they can charge you 'no more than 110% of the estimated charges,' then they go ahead and charge you near that.

I met with someone to set an appointment for moving hemp and moving services. I met with him on a Tuesday last week, and wanted to move on a Friday, same week. Last minute, I know, but we had just gotten a place. The quote was pretty high, and the guy doing the evaluation told me that because they get booked quickly, I should set an appointment immediately. Because I needed packing help, I needed 2 appointments, both of which required a deposit.

The movers were hardworking and did an excllent job on our recent move into our newly built home, until the washer, which was last thing that was moved into the home. While placing the heavy washer, they tore our brand new flooring. I filed a claim and this is when they ruined it for their hardworking movers and earned this one star review. It would take a week and my follow up email to get a response. I called once and was told I would get a call that afternoon, which I did not (nor did I ever receive).

Extremely overpriced and expensive. I have used their service in Las Vegas/Henderson area and had an excellent experience. In this case, I paid almost as much as the sofa cost just to have it removed. I've used other removal services that were cheaper as well. I would've canceled if not for the fact that my new delivery is tomorrow and I needed it taken care of today. I think they're intentionally vague and deceptive on their pricing to trick you into booking. Also, they don't seem organized with their scheduling.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!! Most stressFULL moving experience ever. COLLEGE PUNKS is a more appropriate name for this Bad Business. Their estimate was off by more than half, costing us $10,000 for 2 days of moving. They charged us for an employee whom they later told us couldn’t lift much due to an injury. THEY BROKE COUNTLESS ITEMS! Before the move, they promptly answered every call.

I felt that I basically threw away $3,100 dollars by chosing your company to help me. I was laughed at when I told them that I needed the TV thrown away because it will cost $30 dollars more. This fee wasn't told to me when the first guy came to give a bid. You would think that they would? But instead, I was laughed at for the extra cost. The mover stated that they are charged $15 dollars at the dump so they charge $30 for it while laughing.

I contact this company 8 days before I needed furniture moved out from residence into another and a guy named Tristan contact me a day later after I left a vm just for him to not service me at all He would send a text saying, Hey! How are ya?! Let me know if you need any help, call this number or text and we will get you taken care of" So that's what I did, I called 3-4 times , I even stated when I would call, texted him what I needed done thru text, and voice-mail.
