I would NEVER recommend this company. Time estimated for our move was incorrect, it ended up taking twice as long, therefore twice the price. The movers broke my credenza and waited until the very end of moving to bring that final broken item out. I feel that they were dishonest in hurrying me to sign the paperwork at the end “initial here, here and here” without any explanation of their liability. They are offering me $0.6 for each pound my credenza weighs.
Hi Angelique- I think this review was for the other location. Our location is no longer operating. You might want to get ahold of them at their local office. I’m sorry though, that this happened.
Accused me of "keying" their truck, cursed at me, and got in my face as well. No matter what the situation, you should still act professional and not get in the faces of people who were thinking of using your company. Never use this company or location.

So they showed up after asking me what size my storage unit was when I arranged the call I said 10 × 20, and weren't even sure it fit on the truck so that was my first panic call for the day. Then they finally tell me they got it all on the truck and we're bringing it to Lake Oswego where when we got to my apartment they asked me how I wanted it placed in my apartment and I said it need to be stacked up not out.
Hi Mary-- As we were contacted to complete this move by a participating program, we followed the instructions given to us by the program director. There was a concern very early on in your move about space at the destination.
Not very happy with pricing. I had a king sized mattress and two box spring for them to junk. Over the phone, they did not tell me about the $19 fee for EACH to be junked, on top of the pricing, which started out at $99 for less than an eighth of a truck and then suddenly when they got here they told me it would be an eighth which would be $179. Plus the fees put me over what I was expecting.

I had a two seater couch and a recliner, neither of which combined would equal more than ⅛ of the truck. I also had a doorknob flyer that said that loads that don't take up more than ⅛ of the truck would be $99 or less. After the two pieces of furniture were loaded up, I was charged $199! When I emailed the company (over a month ago now) to inquire about WHY it was as much as they charged me and I've heard NOTHING back..just crickets.
Hi Karen-- After looking through all email accounts pertaining to our staff, we found no email from you. I did, however, find that you responded back to our automated email system that sends booking confirmations. This would be why you were unable to get ahold of us.
I won't be using this group again. Pick a different junk hauling company or do it yourself. The employees were nice enough but what I was told on the phone was vastly different from what I received upon arrival. Half of the things they quoted me for did not get removed. They charged by the minute and even though I equally partook in the labor to move the items to the truck for the full 30 minutes of labor they provided to me, they still charged me $500.

Ian and crew showed up inside their window and promptly took my junk. Nice guys. Unfortunately, they told me the cost after they loaded everything, (truck completely closed up) contrary to their website that stated I’d get a quote before they loaded. Their website estimated a $99 trip charge for a small amount of stuff. I only had a small amount of items and was charged $179 for 1/8 of their truck (according to them). Super convenient, but way too expensive.

Contacted this business for a quote to take a couch. Their prices were high so I reconsidered but now they will not stop calling, texting AND emailing me. I have unsubscribed from emails, responded to texts, and answered phones all to tell them to STOP and yet the pings keep rolling in. Do not recommend. Do not give them your info.

Called College Hunks to help with moving my belongings from my old to current apartment on 01/29/2024. My team consisted of Brodie, Ethan, and Derek. They arrived about 15 minutes early which I highly appreciated. Throughout the move they were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They took great care with moving, wrapping, and putting blankets on my stuff. I also appreciated how they assisted with junk removal of things I wanted to discard (which helped cross out a task from my to-do list amid this move).

I really appreciated working with College Hunks Hauling to have a house cleared out of its contents. a friend passed away and we were tasked with emptying the house, which seemed like a very daunting task, especially since we live a few hundred miles away. Abby scheduled an estimate appointment for us very quickly so we could get the quote while we were in town. she was very patient and accommodating with me as i figured out when we would be able to schedule her crew to come.

I had an emergency move that I needed done, I called on a Thursday afternoon and College Hunks was able to get my move booked for Saturday. I had almost nothing packed and they said it was no problem at all. The Hunks took the time to carefully package all of my belongings, wrap up all of the furniture, carefully move everything across town, and unloaded everything for me. Spencer, Chris, Reed, and Abby were a tremendous help in pulling this off.

I contacted Spencer at our local College Hunks location in Oregon City 7 weeks prior to our move, and he came over and gave us an estimate for what it would cost for our move on January 3rd. We he arrived, I was VERY impressed with Spencer from the start. He was neat, clean and professional and polite. He was also very transparent, and explained the moving rules and regulations for Oregon as well as how and when their charging times stopped and started.
