If I could leave zero stars, I would. Hiring College Hunks was one of the biggest mistakes we’ve ever made. The movers showed up with no regard for our furniture, they didn’t bother to wrap or protect a single item, and the results were disastrous. They completely broke our bed and then dropped our custom-made couch, leaving a noticeable chip in it.

Sadly I have to edit this review 2 years later after using the HUNKS again for a move. Maybe they have new owners? But it was exceptionally awful this time. Especially having a prior experience to compare it to. This company went wayyyy down hill compared to where it was 2 years ago. I could NOT reccomend and would NEVER use of again. I even reached out to the manager I booked the job with and got no response. -- Fantastic! Couldn't be happier and that's thanks to David, Omar and Enzo.

This is the third time I’ve used college hunks and I’m sad to share that the third time was not the charm— several broken items, items missing and any level of care was just absent with this move as it had been in the past. On a positive note, Kudos to Ethan, he’s amazing!

Chose this company based on reviews. Moving from duplex rental to single 1. Crew showed up an hour past window - 2 men- instead of 3 (which definitely impacted time). They were polite, one was smoking. A third man came at drop off. 2. Crew took care with walls and doors 3. On booking - said they could disassemble furniture - didn’t have proper tools and was not equipped to handle or simply didn’t know how to do this. 2 full size beds were destroyed as they stripped the screw holes in process.

Horrific and heartbreaking experience that the company refuses to remedy. We spent 30 mins on a consultation call with them answering many detailed questions so we thought they would show up prepared for the job- they did not. They showed up in hoodies in the middle of NY winter with no protective gear. Watched them almost get injured multiple times.

Avoid this company. Do not go near them. They are the worst ever. On every level our move with College Hunks was a horrific disaster. We chose them based on some good reviews, sadly we didn't see the bad ones, which I could have written myself. I would like to prevent other people from making the same mistake,. We have already discussed our complaints with with the company, who "thanked us for our feedback."...what a waste of time.

Not being able to contact them IS the issue. Call me if you actually want to resolve this. Either that response is generic or they didn't read the issue. In any case, they care as little as I've already highlighted.

Don’t use them. They broke my furniture. Dropping fragile. Box. Did. Not load there truck right let a lot of stuff behind took me all of next day to my stuff out. And they stop for lunch and charge you for it they get pay by hr i was waiting for them for 45 mins to show up to next place. Only was a 25 min drive.

My hunks Eli and Larry from the Peekskill office were clearly experienced, made the move run smoothly and on time. They wrapped the furniture securely in quilts and moved big bulky items without scratching or touching the walls. When we got to the apartment they placed the furniture in the right places and even helped move unwanted pieces out. They were incredibly polite to all people they came across and were a pleasure to work with. The job came in under estimate. Would recommend this team highly.

Calling college hunks hauling was the best decision. They were reliable, on time, well priced and responsive. Important to note is they try very hard to not dispose of your items that are in good condition, and rather donate them to worthy local charities. Omg Dominick and Coby were great! So polite efficient and hard working! They listen to what needs to be done and go right to it and get it right!!! They did an unbelievable amount of work so quickly.
