Customer Beware! We used Hunks for moving out of our home in June. The young men who came to help us were very nice, hardworking, professional. HOWEVER, they were clearly not experienced or qualified movers. Scratched several furniture pieces. Dropped a dresser on our sidewalk. Used basically no padding to protect our furniture when moving into storage units, and as such, we have sustained damage to many of our items.
We’re very sorry to hear you did not have a better experience with our services and truly want to help resolve any issues you may have. If you could please reach out to our team at [phone removed], we will do our best to help resolve your concerns.
If you value any of your possessions, do not use College Hunks! The only thing going for this company is that they were the more affordable option. I would give them less than one star, if that were an option. We hired College Hunks to load our possessions onto a trailer to move from North Carolina to Maine and have been appalled at the service provided. When I talked to Tyler to initially get a quote from College Hunks, I was assured that their movers were trained and professional.
IF I CAN GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD, I BOOK APT THEY TOOK MY 99 DOLLARS OUT FOR A DEPOSIT, CHANGE MY MIND 4 DAYS LATER AFTER I BOOK THE APPOINTMENT , AND BEEN CALLING FOR ALMOST 3 WEEKS TO GET MY 99 DOLLARS BACK,,HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO GIVE ME A DEPOSIT BUT YET NOTHING, ITS FUNNY HOW THEY TAKE THE MONEY OUT RIGHT AWAY BUT WHEN TIME TO GET A RETURN I GET THE SAME RUNAROUND. NOT FAIR. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO NO ONE THIS COMPANY.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Called and scheduled an estimate for today. They gave me a window of 3 to 5:00 p.m. no one showed, no one called. Twice I sent a request for an ETA through their portal and received no response. I called and left a message, and receive no response. I texted the phone number they texted me on and got no response. Not very reliable or professional. Stay away from this business.

I booked an appointment for them to move a piece of furniture for me. The representative on the phone confirmed the appointment and gave me a time. A couple of hours before they were supposed to show up I got an email stating that they could no longer do the job. No explanation, no apology. Don’t use them!

We recently hired College Hunks, Thomasville to disassemble and remove several large, heavy pieces of furniture. Tyler, The Sales Manager was very helpful in getting us an appointment to accomodate our complicated time frame and Kori and Raphael were great! They were very courteous and professional and took great care to move the items...a large dresser with mirrors and four poster bed down the stairs carefully without any damage to floor or walls. I would not hesitate to call them again.
