WORST moving experience of our lives. If I could give negative stars, I would. I contacted the company, they sent one dismissive email, I responded again, and I never heard from them after that, despite phone calls. Guess they didn't feel like dealing with it, but I like to specify that I did try to reach out the company first directly when I write something like this. First - they charge the MOVING rate (yes, $90/$110/whatever an hour) to TRAVEL to you.

At no fault of the movers themselves, they showed up an hour late and management (not the two movers themselves) didn't call to inform me until 15 minutes after they were supposed to arrive. After the movers completed moving, they called their manager at my request so I could discuss a fair discount since they were late and didn't inform us they'd be late until after their scheduled time of arrival.

Do NOT use this company for junk hauling! I’ve spent over $1,500 with them and they still didn’t remove everything. We gave clear instructions that everything must go, yet they left items behind—even though there was space in the truck. When we called, they admitted it was their mistake but refused to make it right unless we paid an additional fee. Holding up selling our house because of them! Terrible service. Save yourself the headache and hire a different junk hauler.

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!! They broke my DRESSER, RIPPED MY COUCH, AND BROKE MY MINI FRIDGE. Also my couch has stains on it from them moving it. They got mad at me from asking them to fix it and all they did was sew it back together HORRIBLY! They said they couldn’t fix my fridge AT ALL. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT BOOK THEM!
Hi Aaron, It does not look like we have any record of you moving with us before, but this is quite the concerning experience. The green tape around the black bag and the green paper tag on the furniture in your photos is often used by a company called Guys and Dollies to label their items.
Gave them 5 stars two years ago the first time I used them, But this year was nothing like that time. Booked a truck size per employee's recommendation on the "consultation" call. Was a little concerned, but she assured me it would workout just fine after giving her a detailed list of every item we had. Should have went with my gut. The time came and the movers said they could not get everything in the truck once they were about half way done.

Amanda, We allot the proper amount of moving time based on the information provided. If there are more items to move on moving day than initially expected we may not have enough time or truck space to accommodate those items.
The quote I received was for 500 dollars for my move and I wound up paying almost double that. A friend of mine moving from the same complex with more stuff than I had only paid 200 dollars for his move. …

John, Ethan, Caleb, and Roger helped a friend move recently. I was so impressed with how careful they were with her items, down to even removing flat magnets on her refrigerator to ensure they didnt get damaged during the move "in case they are sentimental" to her (per John, the team lead). I've moved a lot and these guys were absolutely the most professional, kind and careful that I've ever seen.
College Movers hauled an old freezer out of our basement, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They showed up on time, got it up the stairs and out the door fast, and handled a genuinely nasty, smelly old unit without complaint. In and out quick, fair price, zero mess left behind. Highly recommend for junk hauling.

Two wonderful young men arrived exactly on time to carry heavy items and packed boxes up out of the basement and then they worked to fit everything just so in the minivan for us. Excellent experience from booking to completion of task. Highly recommend and would gladly use College Movers again!
