This company is one of the worst moving companies I’ve ever encountered. My partner and I happened to move into a home together recently. I used a different moving company but my partner used this so called “company”. They sent 5 movers and a truck that was way too small to store everything. The movers were extremely unprofessional. They wasted time smoking/vaping, singing, cursing, and top it off talking about inappropriate personal subject matter. The lack of professionalism was very concerning.
Jack, This is a very concerning review to read and certainly not a positive moving experience. I do believe though you may not have the correct company, we were not able to find your name in any of our records and this is not a moving experience we are aware of.
I called College Movers and had them move my washer and dryer to my new address, along with items in my home office. Setting up the appointment was very easy, and they were very polite. They took down my information, we made an appointment and they even worked with my schedule. However, moving day arrives and they showed up 2 hours early, did not call me (said they didn’t have my phone number, although I gave it to them when I made the appointment and they repeated it back to me to confirm).
I highly recommend you read this review in full, but if you cannot, here is the overarching statement: College Movers provides service that can be equated to 2 of your college friends who have a big truck and a toolbox helping you move. I recommend using your friends, as then you’d only be paying them in pizza and beer, and their goofing off doesn’t result in a huge bill you’re inevitably responsible for.
Over the years, I have used several moving companies. At of my all experiences, this company was the VERY worst. The gave me a quote that didn't match the amount I needed to pay when they moved my belongings. Further, the damage the occurred while in the possession of the company is totally unacceptable. When I spoke to the manager/owner, Braden Trimpe, his rudeness confirmed that he didn't care about customer service. He only cared about the amount he charged.
This is a fake review posted by Michael Krauthammer in an attempt to hurt our company’s reputation. Michael is a former College Movers customer. Unfortunately, he did not have a positive experience with our company and while we have tried to do everything we could to remedy any issues with his move…
Thay lost over hafe off our stuff and broke the rest of it I will never recommend this or use him ever so 0 stars that would not let me put 0thay rote on some of my gears an d broke a 6 ft tall cabinet broke extremly welly warped mereas and pixcers and pickshers from when the camra was first invented thay went there all out stuff and priceless items like 1st babby shoss and other items like that.

I had a good experience with College Movers. They showed up promptly on time and the cost was exactly as quoted. There was minimal / no damage to any of my furniture (nothing I wouldn't expect as typical for a move). They packed up the truck quickly and managed to squeeze everything in. They unpacked just as fast and were helpful placing larger items in specific rooms. I'd definitely recommend them for a painless (as painless as moving can be) experience.
This review is only for the first part of my two-part move. Both movers were very professional, appeared to be very young and in great strength, and used great precision when working together and communicating to transition my extremely heavy pieces. They're planning was well thought out on how they'd position each piece before returning to my truck to place those items in it. Absolutely no time was wasted.
The guys were great! They were timely and hard working! They cared about what they were doing. I would definitely use them again. My only complaint and the reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I felt like a lot of my stuff was either broken or scrambled around when it arrived. I had an old lamp broken (which I could care less about), but the wooden slats in my chest of drawers were broken making the drawer unable to move in and out. I feel like they did the best they could do with the man power they had.
An Outstanding Move with an Even More Outstanding Team We recently completed a small pre-move with one of the best local moving crews we’ve ever hired—and trust me, after 27 moves (yes, really), we’ve seen the full spectrum. I first noticed the company when Braden, the owner, showed up at our shared gym wearing a branded shirt. A quick chat later, I had a good feeling—and I’m glad to say, that gut instinct paid off.
