I had a terrible experience. They arrived 6 hrs late so that it was already dark outside. Then they told us they were going to add two more people to the team to make the moving faster, but charged us for those people. When the two men showed up, one was very obviously intoxicated. They complained heavily about the amount of things we had the entire time, even though we had meticulously gone through the checklist to tell them how much we had to move.

October 2021. Day 1: packing by Collins movers Day 2: moving by Collins movers Day 4: credit card fraud alert, realize items stolen. Cancel credit card. Day 6: another credit card realized with fraudulent charges. Police report made. Heed caution. No one else had access to our possessions. You can put two & two together for yourself. Yes, I should have packed the separately. Yes, I should not have trusted these guys.

1/28/26 LOOK AT THE 1 star reviews first! I used these movers to move from one studio apartment to another, just 3 minutes away (a 3 minute walk). Everything was pre-boxed and stacked ready to go onto dollys. A small, quick, easy move by anyone’s standards. I was quoted $505 and a 2 hour move. That sounded fair to me. I was charged $1200 and it became a 5.5 hour move after intentional time padding. I was excited to hire them because of all the 5 star, amazing reviews!!

Talk about a dishonest business. Please please please abstain from using them. Here's why I was quoted two hours. Took four and a half hours. The mover came in at 4:20 at my apartment - said they came in at 4:05; this, after I requested to let me sign the papers upfront. All signatures were done at the end on a small phone device without me even able to see what I was signing! The movers were simply slow and lethargic. One of the movers was panting while working.
I wish I could give them zero stars since they scam and overcharge me. The movers were nice but when I called for an estimate of 210 but when I moved on Wed Apr 22nd the movers charge me more with more than 500. Shame on them for not telling me about all the charges, the charges are hidden and been scam. I had 14 containers and a very miscellaneous items and the move was less than 2 hours. PLEASE DONT RENT THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL OVER CHARGE AND HIDE THE HIDDEN FEES.
