What a disaster dealing with AMJ Campbell. We have had the misfortune of dealing with them multiple times as they deliver for Urban Barn. And they never fail to disappoint. We were expecting a delivery earlier this month, we set up a date and we got the automated phone call to confirm the time slot. The day off they called saying that they don’t find our stuff in the warehouse and so rescheduled the delivery to a later date.

I’ve never written a review like this before, but my experience with AMJ moving company (through Crate & Barrel) has been an absolute disaster from start to STILL WAITING FOR REPAIRS. During the delivery, the movers seriously damaged my home. They scratched my walls from the 3rd floor all the way down to the 1st, leaving visible silver metal exposed. They also left fresh paint marks from the damage all over the staircase walls and even took a door off its hinges.

Absolute rip off , no words can describe their unethical business practices and money minded behaviour. Ive realised bigger the size of a company lesser they care about the clients as they are not scared of losing a customer or 2 as they have big marketing budget to fetch new fishes. It’s better to search for a family owned business or local movers as these big companies also use the same teams as brokers, charge double the price but keep most of the profit themselves and you cant find who to blame for those…

Worst experience ever! (Update below) I moved from Europe to Canada and my moving company decided that the last mile would be handle by AMJ. They kept my things for three weeks in their warehouse, giving them zero priority. They tried to charge me $250 for a parking permit that I got for free, they try to charge me $250 for living above the second floor (I repeatedly told them that I live in the first floor) and $250 for long carry when the entrance is next to the road. I had to deal with P.K.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. They were in charge of delivery of my bed from Urban Barn 3 times. The first delivery was smooth, though the bed itself had a defect and had to be replaced. The second delivery was horrible and the delivered bed was damaged during the delivery, though AMJ Campbell denied it. The delivery crew refused to remove the old bed and then only said that they are removing it "for me", but this is not what was promised by the dispatcher. The third delivery was horrific.

Moving from Nova scotia to Montreal. At nova scotia: 1st: the packers arrived 2 hours late, worked from 10am - 5pm. It is ok, they are nice 2nd: the movers arrived 4 hours late to pick it up, 11:30-5:30. After checking the electric and the house, we started driving by car from Nova scotia and arrived at New Brunswick at 3am (thank you AMJ) At montreal: 3rd: the movers arrived at the new house in Montreal 4 hours late AGAIN, work fast though, from 12-3:30. They are nice 4nd: unacceptable.

AMJ Campbell and Atlas :The worst moving experience ever. Montreal to Toronto.The salesperson was really helpful, polite and promised many services which were not delivered. The quality of the service depends on the movers and packers, not the salesperson. They were supposed to arrive at 9 am, they came at 1pm. We received our load 2 days later than scheduled. In Toronto they were supposed to come at 9 am, they came at 1:30. The furniture was not packed and protected as promised.

AMJ was supposed to deliver a piece of furniture I ordered online from Crate & Barrel. Unfortunately, they didn't damage the furniture, to the point where it was declared a total loss. They did damage a wall inside my apartment. They took photos of the furniture and my wall and told me they would file a report (I didn't sign a waiver). Your team was supposed to come back to pick up the furniture (I specified that they should be more than two men to prevent any potential damage).
