As a military spouse, this wasn't my first move. We had a very bad experience with the Quebec City moving teams. If we had the choice, I would NEVER use AMJ again. Packing Team: 1. Arrived 1.5 hours late, without any prior notice. 2. Despite the team leader's assurance that the cabinets would be checked, three large drawers in the kitchen were still full, in addition to pots and pans scattered around. A total of five boxes that I had to pack myself. 3.

This company acted as a subcontractor for Crate and Barrel. We had to have a product replaced, which meant we had their staff come twice for the delivery and installation of both the original and replacement furniture. Since the delivery and installation service paid for by Crate and Barrel is quite expensive and advertised as "white-glove service," let's just say we didn't expect the delivery/installation personnel to keep their winter boots inside the house, even after we asked them to remove and/or cover them…

Wow. Worst service ever from a sales rep. I can't believe it. Here's a quick recap of my call, which took place on April 27th at 1:28 PM: Me: Hello, I'd like some information on your rates for a residential move on July 5th. :) Representative: Okay, I'll need your name. Me: Vicky Representative: You must have a last name, right? Me: Yes, but I'll give it to you after I have the information to see if I'm interested or not. :) Representative: Okay, Vicky, it's $10,000/hour. Me: Excuse me? Are you kidding me?

Absolutely no respect for commitments. The move was scheduled for June 22nd. They postponed it to the 25th, then the 26th, and didn't inform me of the price changes despite my requests. The final bill was over 45% higher. All this due to poor planning on their part and a lack of respect for their customers, who have to bear the cost of their mistakes. There were supposed to be three movers, but only two showed up for part of the day. This is the third moving company I've used, and it's by far the worst.

Terrible service, definitely not worth the price. Inexperienced movers that are not up to the prior standards of the company. I trusted them before: it's over. Much damage and negative attitude, plus it took forever. It's also impossible to talk to anybody at the office. Very disappointed. EDIT: The general manager of the branch contacted me after I posted this review. They apologised for the poor service and uncharacteristic experience and offered to adjust the invoice. I won't forget, but I can start to forgive.

The telephone reception was a disaster. I received no explanation, no dialogue whatsoever. The person simply recited their script with extraordinary nonchalance and then immediately hung up without even saying goodbye when I told them I had another company. Furthermore, the conditions for obtaining a quote are extremely complicated and unclear. These are clearly people who don't enjoy their work; I do not recommend them.

Moving with AMJ for appliances and belongings during renovations. The return move was disorganized, and there was significant damage to the belongings and property, which the employees refused to acknowledge despite providing several before-and-after photos. Finally, the settlement was paltry, and the response time was unreasonable. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

Furniture repairs at exorbitant prices, and I ended up doing more work with my own van. They barely carry anything; I packed everything myself and transported all my boxes because they apparently didn't meet the required standards. I transported 20 bags of calcium, 20 plants, and other things. They don't carry much for the price, and the quality of service is pretty poor.
