Déménagement Le Clan Panneton

I am extremely disappointed with the services I received from Clan Paneton during my recent move. First, the mover who provided the estimate was very unprofessional and misjudged the volume of my belongings, resulting in a much higher bill than the estimated amount… but fortunately, after eight months, compensation was paid. I entrusted my belongings to their warehouse for a 10-month storage period. Unfortunately, when I retrieved my belongings, I discovered that some items were missing (worth $975).

The Panleton clan has lost some ground: the trucks are neglected and, unfortunately, they're using subcontractors who arrived late (9:30 am instead of 8:00 am) and wanted to take a lunch break at 11:00 am instead of going straight to deliveries. Unprofessional and poor complaint handling—I haven't received any feedback.

I moved with them, everything was fine, but they broke my stove. I contacted customer service, they didn't call me back, I called again, oops, you're in Montreal. To make a long story short, after several phone calls (I spoke to them at least three times) and emails, they never called me back. I even sent photos, but I gave up after several weeks... never heard back. They used to have a good reputation, more expensive, but I will never use them again. Their customer service is terrible. Really disappointed.

My mother-in-law used their service and it was a complete disaster. I don't recommend using their services if you want quality, humane service! On top of dealing with the death of her spouse, she had to manage a move that was already pretty subpar... They barely finished before they were "quite forcefully" asking for feedback! They didn't even have time to check the furniture and appliances.

It's rare for me to write a negative review on Google. But this time, I feel compelled to inform people about my recent experience with Clan Panneton. I've used this company for several moves; the one before last was fairly average, but last week's move was downright unacceptable. I was the last customer of the week. The head mover told me right away that he had 80 hours of work behind him and that it was too much. But my dollar is worth about the same as the first customer's.

A horror story! As a mover, I was promoted to salesperson twice, and then twice I was sent back on the road with excuses like I wasn't qualified enough, while they gave my job to colleagues who weren't any better qualified! They play games with their employees' conditions! They considered it a refusal to work because I had a minor sprain and needed at least a few days to recover! I trusted my employer's common sense!

I highly recommend them. 5 stars! ------------------ Modifications made following customer service. The moving truck damaged the yard. I asked them if they had insurance to cover the damage, and they refused to pay because when the movers asked if they could park on the property, I hadn't realized it would damage it.

We had a very bad experience during our move on August 1st in Quebec City. After reading other reviews, I realize that not all employees provide the same level of service. We experienced this firsthand when the move from our large 6 1/2 to a 5 1/2+ took over 13 hours in total. The initial phone estimate was for a large 6 1/2, and throughout the call, the man I spoke with confirmed that it was perfectly reasonable: 3 guys, 6 hours, and a 30-foot truck for a large 6 1/2, all for $210/hour.
