Dear Phoenix, We have thoroughly searched our records and have found no record of you ever being a customer. Our team also does not recall any situation that matches your description. We're uncertain about the reasons behind your negative review and the inaccuracies in your description of events.
I found Cool Moving from the great reviews I saw online to assist my wife and I with our move last month. Originally, and per our agreement, movers were supposed to arrive between 2- 3 PM. Four days prior, I communicated that the elevator reservation wouldn't start until 3 PM so it's probably better if the movers arrive closer to that time.
Scheduling the move was painless and they were able to accommodate my move with late notice. The hourly rate was competitive. But that’s where the positive experience ended. Moving a studio apartment less than 1 mile took more than FIVE HOURS. I sent the movers home without reassembling my furniture because they had already hit the 5 hour mark. And they made sure to tell me that charged for a full hour even if they only spent 10 extra minutes. The movers were polite enough but clearly not professionals.
If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I have never had a worse experience with a moving company ever. I called last minute asking about Sunday availability, which they said they had available. I was told they would be there at 8:30 AM and then they kept pushing the time back, not showing up until almost 10:15 AM, with the excuse that they do not normally work Sundays.
We take every review seriously, but several statements in this review are inaccurate. While our crew arrived later than expected, they worked hard throughout the move to complete it safely and efficiently.
I don’t suggest anybody get them to move them. These guys left half of my stuff in the house told me they were going to do another trip when I got to the apartment with the first trip the manager or whoever asked me to pay him for four hours, I paid him when everything was done. He told me they weren’t going back to get the other stuff because his guys were mad, Because he gave him bad information, if they had a problem with the job, they shouldn’t have did it , If it was a more stairs than they expected, about…
You said it’s 1 bedroom house, it was 2 bedrooms +living room, 26ft truck was full , it supposed to be 3 guys but 4 guys worked and they finished in 4.5 hours”1 bedroom house” at drop off location you said it’s second floor which obviously wasn’t the case it was 3rd floor and you had to walk to…
Ok I don't know what everyone else's experience was with Cool moving but I have to say my experience wasn't great if we are talking the actual work they did it would be 4 stars as they worked well. However that is not all there is to it for 1 small room worth of belongings on barely 3 hours only because I was trying to find the location for 5-6 mins with 2 additional helpers including myself working hard with them to still be charged $525 for that is completely unacceptable reasonable should have been $300 for 1…

DO NOT CALL COOL MOVING Terrible service provided by cool moving! We scheduled for Saturday at “3 or 4”, I assumed it was a window. I called at 12 to see when they were coming. They called back at 3pm to say they can’t come today but Sunday at 12pm which was a major inconvenience. They showed up at 12 with no tools and were very rude. They needed me to get my tools for them to do their job and never offered an apology or discount for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, but we believe there are some inaccuracies in your description of our service. You requested just to move washer and dryer from 1st floor to the basement that’s it. That’s not whole moving job.
The only reason why I’m giving one star is because of pest issues. They were professional, hard working guys, fast, and prompt. I recently removed my items from my boxes and found two beg bugs. Where I came from never had any issues with bed bugs. I called the owner and he stated they disinfect after every job. Which I doubt it being though these guys are tired after a long day of moving. Now I have to pay for pest control for my new place.
Thank you again for choosing us for your move. I just want to clarify that we do not carry or provide any bags . and we always disinfect our trucks and equipment after each job. Out team takes cleanliness very seriously and we’ve never had issued with posts before.

was a little worried at the beginning since communication was spotty. But the team arrived on time (7:45 for 8 am start) and moved quickly at both pick up locations. I didnt think we would get all of my sons stuff into the truck, but they carefully packed the truck and managed to just get it all in. I was sure we were doing two trips which was ok, but doing two from Abington to Pennsauken (location of my sons new home) would have been ... bothersome.

I was very pleased with scheduling the pick-up, the flexibility with days and times, professionalism with the pick-up, and fair pricing! Overall great experience and will highly recommend to friends and family. Excellent service from beginning to end. Genuinely nice guys, very friendly and professional. Communications and expectations were very clear. Had the treadmill removed from the second floor and was glad to have the space back! Definitely recommend Alex and his team.

BEST MOVING SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA AREA This is the best mover by far in the greater Philadelphia area. They did an incredible job moving all of our belongings in an extremely short timeframe and I couldn’t be happier!
