I had a terrible experience with Superior Moving. They lowballed their estimate and ended up charging me much more than originally quoted. The crew and truck provided were severely undersized for my needs, causing unnecessary delays and stress. To make matters worse, they falsely claimed I didn't sign up for a supplemental insurance policy, which I absolutely did. When I submitted a claim for my damaged furniture, the owner was condescending and rude, acting like an arrogant child.

One star goes to the movers for being polite, professional and hardworking. If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked this moving company based off of their Google reviews, and number of years experience, not familiar with the greater Philadelphia area. Not only did their 4 person team NOT wrap/protect any piece of my furniture with protective blankets that were piled up in their truck, but they also damaged and/or failed to properly assemble EVERY piece of furniture that they took apart. I literally had bolts laying in my carpet upon their departure.

I called to get a quote from Superior and spoke to someone who said they were the owner, his name was Marc. He sounded like a used car salesman on crack. He was so hyper, talked over me 5 times, had no interest in what I was saying, just wanted to keep spewing his hate for other companies and I swear he was chewing like a cow while ranting to me. He seemed distracted, like he was doing something else the whole call. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - You will be overcharged and the job will not be completed. And they may break a few things. I'm only giving one star because at least they showed up. Moved my mother from a one bedroom apartment into my house. At the apartment the movers loaded her furniture fairly quickly. The problems began with unloading and taking the furniture into my house. The movers did not reassemble the bed even though the contract stated they would.

This company is very unprofessional. I reached out to the company and spoke to the owner Mark way in advance of my move date. I never received a confirmation call or email. The company was a no show on my scheduled move day. I called the day of my move to be told I wasn’t on the schedule. I was told that the company tried to reach out to me but received responses that they had the wrong number and wrong email. Mark tried to blame everything on his employee Steve which I found very unprofessional.

Superior was highly recommended to me so it is unfortunate that I have to write about what should really be rated a “0-Star” experience. My move was first confirmed with an emailed arrival time from 9 to 11 AM. A phone call the day before the move confirmed arrival time between 9 AM and 10 AM. On move day there was no communication from Superior until I called them at 11:30 AM to inquire about their arrival time since they were an hour and a half late. I was told that they would call me back in five minutes.

CAUTION: I only chose a 1star review cuz giving a negative star review isn’t an option. I booked my move on Monday (3 days ago). Mark, the owner, gave me a verbal estimate which is what I agreed to. And soon after I booked, I received the digital, formal estimate that asks to be signed. I noticed that half the info on it was incorrect. The cost nor the facts about the current location and inventory being moved matched what we had discussed. Initially, I thought it was an innocent mistake.
