Crabtree Family Moving & Storage

Had used this company for multiple moves in the past and had an absolutely horrible experience the last time using them. We provided moving blankets, wrap and tape for all of our items and they failed to wrap a number of items, stacking items improperly in our moving pod, and without securing them. Causing over $10,000 worth of damages (en entire bedroom set ruined, plus other items) and without any return calls from upper management. DO NOT use this company of you care about your belongings!

Horrible experience. From the unprofessional crew to the management team who never responded when drivers had not show up for hours after expected.

This is a difficult review to write because everything went so smoothly. The crew was great and on time so much so I tipped them $300. A day after unpacking I went to hang my brand new TV ( which I paid additional money to have them pack and it was broken. I wasn’t worry in the slightest because Grayson who has been great to deal with is extremely helpful got me set up and “FULLY PROTECTED “. I sent him this picture and he said thank you for sending it and he would talk to his manager and get back to me.

We used Crabtree for a previous move and everything went pretty smoothly. Because of that, seven years later we asked them to move us again. We had to store our furniture for 7-8 months and were told it would be in conditioned storage. After almost 8 months we received our furniture and it was a mess. Mold and mildew on almost all of it, to such an extent that the driver of the truck who remained in the back of the truck while unloading said he felt congested with a headache and it just started while unloading.

We hired Crabtree Family Moving to help us move into our new dream home, including transferring and hooking up washer/dryer. The movers incorrectly installed the washer, leading to a major flood of our laundry room and kitchen, ruining our hardwood floors. The movers caused $10,000-$15,000 of damage and it will take weeks to do the repairs during which we will lose access to our kitchen and other areas of the house.

Update: To the owners, we never received a response to our emails beyond your initial email and there is no statue of limitations for an angry customer. Update: my daughter's bed collapsed into the frame. They left screws sticking out that ripped a hole in the mattress and had ignored the holes in the rail to slap screws into a few bed slats and called it a day. They slats were crooked and fell through the rails. Our guest bed almost collapsed the other day because they never tightened the screws.

Reviewed a couple months ago and doing a follow up. Hired for an out of state high end move. Purchased the extra insurance as it was such a large and expensive move. Many items damaged, all photographed and many shown to the owners ( they accompanied the crew as it was such a large/net worth move) have been trying to settle damage and out of pocket set up for gym, clocks (was their responsibility to do) damaged walls, some damaged items are irreparable, thousands of dollars in damage and Cliff and his “insurance”…

This company is TERRIBLE! I would give this company 0 stars if I could. They essentially chucked all of my belongings into a truck and let them fend for themself. I have a broken TV, broken lampshades, dented lamps. We hired them to have them pack items and they failed to do that on the day they said we would. This meant that we had to take time to pack the things they did not pack ourselves. Our boxes were crumpled, ripped, crushed, all manner of destroyed. Every person we interacted with was high.
