Little Guys Movers Raleigh

Well they showed up 3 hours late! They were rude said there's nothing they can do they show up when they show up. Damaged one of my expensive pieces and acted like it was not their fault! Will never use these guys again!

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company. When my mother moved into her apartment, three young men from this company were sent to help her move because her children were unable to be there. During the move, her money and her firearm went missing. We reported the incident and filed two police reports. When we contacted the company, the manager claimed to have spoken with the workers involved, who denied taking anything.

Disappointing experience. Would NOT recommend. Booking was easy & we were contacted frequently the week of the move to see if anything had been changed/added to the few pieces of furniture to go to a family member’s in Greensboro. We were given a 2 hour time window (11:30-1:30) for pickup and told that the movers would be in contact to confirm arrival time. I made it clear that earlier would be very helpful for the schedules of all involved.

I had high hopes for Little Guys Movers in Raleigh as I had spoken to Charlie and Brandon prior to the move checking in, answering all my questions, and they had great reviews. But the experience was terrible! We hired the movers to pack the day before and move us 15 min away the next day. Having a moving company pack was something I had never done before but was supposed to be extremely helpful as we have a four month old.

We had used Little Guys Movers in the past, and while they used to be exceptional, the experience we had was abysmal. Somehow six guys couldn't move a dresser downstairs so we had to hire a different moving company, which sent two guys who got it down in less than ten minutes (but still cost us about $400 for their time). LGs did damage to our walls in the process (which they offered to pay to have fixed -- three weeks later even though we were trying to sell the house).

Guys were polite but when it came down to packing and loading the truck, this is where the rating gets low. They completely banged up the walls at the place I was moving out of. Which was fixed right away. In the New home however they banged up my walls in a newly built house and I am currently still waiting for someone to come out and fix it. 11/23/23 will make a month and still no answer or schedule on when they will fix my walls.

Dealing with management was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. I received a quote of $342 cash to move a small safe outside of the room and back to have the floors done. The day the safe was moved I was charged $297 and I was real happy. Then when they returned to move the safe back in they charged me another $300. It all of an half hour to move it out and back in.

Just had a call with a man from their customer service. He asked all the questions to be able to quote over the phone since they don't do in-home quote. At the end, once he gives us their quote, he starts pushing us to make a reservation, saying we will not be able to get better price, with better company, we will not be even able to get a moving company within our ideal delivery time. When we asked how much was the reservation fee, he asked for half upfront.
