In their own words
Their moving company Dallas Moving - threatened to drive off & leave our things in the street if we didn't pay the $1k over the quote! They kicked boxes while we watched, the box count was off to start with, so there was no way to match the count when it was delivered. The delivery guys DO NOT allow you time to count boxes & inspect like CSI requires, they DO NOT give you the option of full or "free" (pennies per pound) insurance. They broke 2 different pieces of furniture from 2 different sets.
Deceptive marketing and contract practices and abysmal customer treatment: Original move agreement stated delivery would be 2-15 days. I sent emails of inquiry and informed the company that the 15 day delivery time was about to end. I informed them of limited availability due to work restrictions past this 15 days. With no response to emails, I placed calls. I was told my goods were en route and to call driver.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Complete con job. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. It still makes my blood boil thinking about this. My husband is military, which is how I found myself moving from Texas to Virginia. My husband had seen the Google reviews and missed the Yelp. We worked with Olivia, who is a large part of their con. I had moved a few items around, taking away like 5 large boxes off the quote, and adding a minibar (3X3ft). The quote changed maybe $30.
We used their services during the end of May 2020 to move from Fort Worth, TX to Las Vegas, NV. The movers were on time for the scheduled pick up, nicely and efficiently packed up the furniture, and delivered them without any damage. Now coming to the cons, you have to tell them the exact number of boxes you are going to have for moving and I mean to the exact number and size (small, medium, or large), otherwise they will charge you for every extra item no matter how big or small it is.
Read the reviews on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Most of the bad reviews are of people moving to DFW or people moving around DFW. Those leaving DFW with this company seem to mostly have a good experience. I've got a friend who moved to DFW and this company refuses to deliver his stuff unless he pays them an additional $1000. This is very much in line with other bad reviews. They are holding his belongings hostage.
Save your money and your time and DO NOT book with these people. I planned a move from Dallas to Washington DC. During initial correspondence I was packing and I did not know just how many boxes I would be bringing. When I brought this up to Olivia she couldn't clearly tell me how the pricing worked, but she reworked the quote for like $100 more. On moving day I ended up paying $1000 more than was initially estimated. Erik and his team of movers were really sweet.
This company is the biggest scam and I am still in shock that there is a team of people from this company can live with them self each day professionally and personally. All are very dishonest!!!! My husband and I had a very short window to move and with both of us working we decided to hire a full service moving company. I had time to call 3 moving companies to get quotes. (1 out of the 3 quotes a person came out to look at our things and then gave us a quote.

I would not recommend this moving company. Our household goods were moved from Texas to North Carolina, and while nothing appears to be missing, the delivery experience was frustrating from start to finish. Pickup initially went smoothly, but one issue stood out. The crew repeatedly pushed us to pay through Venmo even after we told them no. It made us uncomfortable and left a poor first impression. Before a single item was unloaded, I was asked to sign paperwork.
