Dan the Moving Man

Over All Poor experience! So sad cause I really enjoyed Dan the Piano man! For the past 22 years I’ve used him/them to tune and service my piano, taken lesson and recommend them. I hired them to move my piano 7.6 miles. Easy pickup and drop off piano on wheels. I get hard workers are hard to find but after speaking with the manager Ray I would stay clear of their business.

Awful service so rude, so beyond unprofessional broke very sentimental items over charged me for their mess up. I would never EVER ! Hire “Dan the moving man” what a god awful experience, almost 30 minutes late. Worst in Spokane by far! With a personality to match! No stars

We were very disappointed in the way our furniture and other possessions were handled. Furniture was broken when removed from the truck with no offer to compensate., a piano leg was left out and was delivered a week later. Furniture was going to be left out of the truck on our back patio in the outdoors for a week ( They underestimated the trucks needed to do the job.) This included couches and wood furniture that surely would have been damaged if we hadn't stopped them from leaving it there.

Was really excited to work with this company after a great conversation and quote. All i had to do was call back and verify the date of moving. I called back a little over a week later and the day i wanted was booked. Ok, that was on me since i wasn't sure what day i wanted to do this. But what really upset me was, after being on the phone for almost 20 minutes the 1st time, did the quote , recieved the quoted price for the work, she suddenly had no documentation of our conversation and the quote doubled in price.

Lack of communication between the front office, back office and the team in the field led to half of an ABF trailer being left unloaded in a storage facility. With a “sorry we have other customers, we won’t be able to finish. Our next available slot is 7 days from now. Not happy at all. Left me scrambling at 3:30 on a Saturday to find another company that could finish the job. There was no way the owner of the storage facility was going to let 2 ABF trailers sit and block his other customers for a week.

I haven't used their service, could be great, but I'd be hesitant after seeing how one of their employees drives. Subaru with the Dan's wrap on it. Going at least 45 in a 35. Witnessed him cut off multiple drivers, including myself, and never once used a blinker when moving across multiple lanes. Somebody tell this guy not to drive like a bonehead in a vehicle that can be so plainly identified. Hopefully they don't drive like that in their moving trucks with your piano in the back.

Had the company move our household goods and really wanted to have a local company since we were moving locally. Really disappointed with cost overrun and the lack of professional attention. I think this was too big of a job. Nice folks but over there heads with this move.

Called in to ask about removing items from dressers and was told that was their policy. I asked to talk to salesman to see if we might have any options. Was told the salesman MIGHT call me back and he has not called. Is that really the way to provide service? Disappointed!
