Response to Cargo Demenagement: Ok, fair, if I am lying about anything, can you please confirm by responding to this review where is your office and your warehouse where you park your trucks? You mentioned to me that you guys had an office. Can you please respond publicly where this office is? Also, I can provide the order number and anything else that is needed to prove this is not a case of "confusion". Original review: Very disappointing experience, especially considering the near-perfect rating.
Cargo Transport Moving's contact information is public and can be verified at any time in the Quebec business registry. We operate with complete transparency and have nothing to hide—our clients can easily access our information before making their choice.
We requested a quote for a long-distance move and were surprised to receive an estimate $2,000 more expensive than well-established competitors. Unfortunately, they won't be securing the two contracts we had to offer. Furthermore, they're dangling the possibility of additional fees that could double the price we obtained elsewhere. And playing the victim won't change their quoted prices... note that no other moving company has been criticized.

I called this company for an estimate and was greeted with a rather rude, even impolite, response: "Madam, I've already given you the price." Furthermore, I hadn't even called before, so he was clearly talking to the wrong customer, but he insisted I had, without even letting me speak. He said, "My caller ID says you've already called," blah blah blah. I had simply called two seconds earlier and hung up accidentally. A complete lack of professionalism; it speaks volumes about the moving company.

They are discourteous and their customer service is poor; they simply refuse to provide information. I requested a quote for a flexible date and was only told their next available date. I wrote again to point out that information was missing from the estimate, and was told it didn't make sense to request a quote for a date before their availability. I never requested a date before their availability. They seemed to have a preconceived and discriminatory mindset and didn't want to serve me.
Ms. Sophie Charbonneau, a resident of Val-d'Or, whom we called yesterday and politely asked to remove the comment, seems to enjoy writing negative reviews on Google, as the five comments from her only contain one positive one! So we'll let the customer be the judge. Ms.
Be careful: they claim to have insurance but don't provide the policy number for verification. The movers damaged the floor by placing the piano directly on it. When I contacted the insurance company, they denied everything (even though there were five of us who witnessed it) and refused to compensate us. I do not recommend them.
Hello Ms. Geneviève Goulet, I am sorry to learn that you did not verify our company's registration with the Quebec Enterprise Register, as all moving and transportation companies are legally required to be insured.
They ask 200$ per hour, even for long distance travel. If it takes 8 hours to go somewhere, back and forth, they ask 3200$, when they write on their website that their minimum is 1500$. And the guy told me: "You are welcomed to find another place, another price elsewhere".

Wow! Great price, excellent service, and they even delivered despite the icy conditions. They didn't even charge extra for clearing the 100-meter driveway (please clear it before they arrive!). My only concern was the email communication, which I sometimes found unprofessional. I was worried about the appointment time and payment, but everything went very smoothly. Very happy with the service I got from them. I had to move all of my big furniture to the 3rd/4th floor condo with no elevator in 25 degree heat. They arrived 15 minutes early and were very professional. They worked very quickly and efficiently and were careful with all of my furniture. Not only that, but they did not complain once even though they went up and down the stairs at least 20+ times. I even felt the need to tell them to take a 5 minutes breather if they needed one. Real hard workers!
