In their own words
Several follow-up calls were necessary to get confirmation from the landlord regarding our move. The movers were friendly until they learned they had another move to do that day. Then they started dropping my brand new bicycle from their truck, scratching it. A wire on my son's motorcycle was severed and no longer works. The corner of my outdoor table was broken. Two boxes are still missing and nowhere to be found.
YOU MUST AVOID this company! Extremely unpleasant experience!! I booked two months in advance, called back three weeks before the move to confirm the reservation, and everything seemed fine. They were supposed to call me three days before moving day, but no call! I called again (I was moving in two days) and THEY HAD FORGOTTEN ME and couldn't find my reservation!! No truck was available, so they booked one from who knows where, and arrived two hours late with a truck that was way too small!!!!
We booked a move with this company. Ultimately, subcontractors from another company were sent without our knowledge. After a chaotic and traumatic experience, Déménagement de Luxe attempted to rectify the situation, but they were completely unresponsive when it came to compensation for the damage to our furniture and the overall experience. They never replied to our emails, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths.
Do not reccomend. Family member just used them to move and so many things were broken. TV, dining table, entertainment unit, freezer, etc. Total damages cost more than the price of the move. Which ended up being more than originally quoted too.
If I could give zero stars I would. Twice I’ve used them and twice I’ve been robbed. The last time 3/4 of my expensive kitchen dishes went missing. I packed the box myself the actual day we moved so I know what went into the boxes. I have 1/4 of my dishes. Mysteriously that box is gone. I also noticed something else I put in that box show up on Facebook marketplace with a few miles of my area. The item was extremely unique and not something you could buy in Quebec so I know it was from my missing box.
November 17, 2025, they postponed my move scheduled for noon to 6 p.m., claiming that the truck got stuck in the snow. I finally chose the next day at noon. They took my belongings to a warehouse, wrapping the furniture in blankets only half the time… The invoice was supposed to be sent by email, but I received nothing… I chose them again for the transport from the warehouse to my new house. I requested the first move of the morning. The owner said they would be there between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
Really disappointed with the service. The guys weren't following instructions. They took all the small boxes and left several large pieces, even though we asked them multiple times to take the bigger items. We had to go back with a trailer to retrieve the items they hadn't taken. One of the guys had been drinking and was incoherent. He couldn't read the instructions on the boxes, even though four sides were clearly marked with Sharpie. We spent several hours afterward moving boxes that ended up in the wrong place.
A very bad experience. Nothing was packed properly, and most of my furniture was broken. The dishwasher was dropped and damaged. Several of their personal cans and bottles were left on the floor at my moving address. In short, this was nothing like the reviews I read when choosing this company. There were about six of them, but only two or three were professional. I wrote to the owner but haven't heard back.

Bravo! This is the first time I've experienced service of this quality. What a team! I couldn't move a single box myself; they are extraordinary, well-managed by the day's coordinator. I was very satisfied with the service provided. Even when problems arose, the after-sales service was excellent and responsive. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and efficiency.
Second review (unable to leave another separate comment). We used Deluxe Moving again and found Dominic and his calming presence during these stressful times. Bastien and Jaymz were also there, and everything went smoothly. Once again, we were very satisfied. We followed Dominic's advice from the first time, and we have a photo to prove it! ;) ******** First review: We spent a whole day with Dominic, Niro, and Raffi between Montreal and Cowansville!
