I moved in June 2023 with an efficient and professional team. When I had to move again this year, I naturally thought of the same company. So I spent about $3,000 with them in one year. Unfortunately, I shouldn't have been such a good customer: unprofessional employees (except for the team leader, who was a bit better. One of them even asked me to sponsor him to get his paperwork done...

They overcharged us. They also broke several pieces of furniture and my newly installed hardwood floor. The Romanian subcontractor they hired mixed us all up on the bill. He sells you a lot of services that aren't correct and weren't part of the original contract. He says one thing, and something else is listed on the bill, or nothing at all, like in our case. He charged us $85 + $175 to take the washer and dryer to Renaissance when Mr. Thériault doesn't offer that kind of service, so be very careful about that.

Do not hire this company, its administration is awful. They charged us for some "borrowed" wardrobe boxes. Told us they'd pick them up after we unpacked and refund our money but then after more than a month of trying to get them to pick up the boxes (in which we missed work waiting for them to come and they just never showed up at the appointed times), they refused to refund our money or pick up the boxes.

Worst company in the world, worst in the history of man kind, we have booked this company for our move and while their workers where working their work complaining about how their boss stole their wages and cheated them out at their pay at the pay day, then our estimate was for only 700 dollars and we had to pay way more, and all I can see here it’s good reviews, they must be all fake, to me this company is nothing less then a organized crime operation and I can’t believe this is happening in our country where we…

This moving coming has irresponsible workers. They dismantled my bedroom cabinet and broke the interior base and sides. The cabinet is worth $2,000. They won't t refund. They just repaired it will cheap quality wood filler. And they charged us $2,000 to move in an apartment for 3 hours of sloppy work. The stove and fridge were filty as I never cleaned them.

I moved with Thériault in 2021 and the experience was amazing that I took their services again in July 2024. Only this time it was horrible. Although I moved the exact same furniture, this time it took 2 trips ( more $), walls and furniture damaged, lost item ( they took the decision to unplug my router that I still didn’t find) and the staff was rude and not professional at all. The problem is not only what happened while moving, but the company itself.

Insurance claims are completely pointless unless they drop your furniture and it's obvious it's completely broken. Claim for scratches or minor damage and you'll be treated like you're committing fraud. Prepare yourself for the "it's old damage" response as if I haven't heard it before. Yes, the furniture was wrapped, but that doesn't protect it from blunt force trauma. It's a blanket, not cement-based padding. The mattress bags are commercial Saran Wrap.

ABSOLUTELY AVOID!! Last year, during our first move with Thériault Moving, everything went very smoothly. We organized the move in two stages and requested the same team for both. The service was impeccable: respectful movers, attentive to our belongings, and very efficient. That's why I decided to use them again for our last move in July. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The team went much too fast, which resulted in one of our boxes breaking—which I admit I had overloaded.
