Denver Professional Movers

I am legitimately baffled at the quality of service here. We booked a service to move our furniture and boxes of items as well as pick up our kitchen and move that as well. They did not wrap our furniture prior to moving it, leaving me to frantically wrap them in blankets to keep everything from being damaged. They did not arrive with packing supplies despite stating they do. They offered to wait around for 45 minutes to get them to us, despite being paid by the hour.

The only reason this place gets two stars is they only broke one lamp and the movers were nice. Other than that the experience was the worst I've ever had. I used to live in New York and had to move every two years so at least 5 times in the past 6 years so I've got a bit of experience under my belt. My fiancé called this company and told them we had a one bedroom 900 sq ft apartment in a luxury building with an elevator and that we could only have the elevator for 2 hrs.

I have given this company a week to right their wrong, don't normally write reviews, but this one needs to be. Movers showed up late after they were scheduled, and its very easy to see why they chose to bill hourly, 3 movers, one on phone most of the time. Entire move took 8 hours, for reference, a company named "youmoveme" did this same move in 5 hours just a year ago.. Now, hard to judge a company for just being slow if everything arrived ok, but it did not, they literally destroyed a leather couch.

BEWARE, THEY HIRE THIEVES!!! I HAD TO PUT A STAR RATING OR THEY WOULD'NT POST THIS REVIEW . I hired this company for my kids who were moving and couldn't afford to hire someone. My sons fiance had put her engagement ring on her bedside table while she was packing. She came back to see that it had been stolen. There were only 4 people that were in their apartment moving. There were two movers and my son & his fiance. My sons finance was absolutely devastated. It was clear that one of the movers stole it.

This company is a COMPLETE shame! They overcharged., under prepared, and purposely took there time to move. A one bedroom apartment took them 11 hrs!! Do NOT use them!!

We moved across town from Denver to Westminster with Denver Professional Movers in September, and we will never work with them again. Although the movers were very nice and hardworking, they certainly were not professional, and we are still digging out of the bad experience we had. We do not recommend them and urge others to avoid them. Here's a bit more detail about our experience: When we called to inquire about the company, we asked if they had workers who were experienced in packing.

I had a relatively simple move that only took 1.5 hrs. It was understood that this company charged a 3 hr minimum. I told the two movers that I would only need them for max two hours, but would obviously pay them for the full three hours. So I found it really annoying that the 2 movers that I had kept asking me if we were done or almost done about an hr into the move.

Unfortunately, a horrible experience with these guys. First off, not all of them spoke English, maybe even only one, so it made communication with them very difficult. Telling them what we wanted or what we needed to do seemed to fall on deaf ears unfortunately, if you want to call it that since it was obviously unable to communicate with them.
