I would never hire this moving company again. My family and I moved out of the city and hired Deomas Movers with the expectation that they would fill their one truck and the rest of our possessions we would be responsible for. We were quoted a price and we agreed. The movers were friendly but inexperienced at best. They struggled with items up our staircase, they damaged many items because they did not cover with the protective blankets, and they did not fill the truck because they ran out of time.

At first I was happy. But when loading there truck there employee's never covered any of the t v s or as for that nothing was protected They showed up late backed up into a hydro outlet and hit the door way with there ramp Took the guy 15 min to back in There boss is cheap for a move There is a reason for that He called his staff told them to hurry to get done After everything was moved into the new place I found a flat screen tv had 3 major cracks in the screen.
Thank you for your feedback. We’d like to clarify a few important points regarding your move. At the beginning, you confirmed that you would be personally paying for the move and asked for a rough estimate.
They helped us move. The team and the manager were really friendly, however during moving they caused a lot of damage to the furniture, old house and the new house! Did not do anything about protecting stuff during any stages of moving! When asked them to fix the new flooring (1 day old) that they damaged, they arranged for someone to come in and fix it, which was great, but that person did a really poor job and they did not provide a response afterwarda other than "it looks good to me!" They were closer to a 4.5…

Not a good experience at all with this company. They work slow, so they can charge more. The cost was absolutely crazy, for small amount of stuff. We moved a few weeks later again with a different company, we had more things, and the cost was less than half of what Deomas Movers charged. Deomas Movers broke a table of ours, but it was never taking into consideration.

Damaged our TV, coffee table and a picture frame. Half way through the move they switch an adult out for a 15 year old kid. The movers were not careful with our stuff, loaded the truck with small items and left a lot of large items for us to take ourselves. I would suggest spending a bit more money and going with a more professional crew.

They showed up on time. But took me a couple days to setup at my new place to find out my tv was damaged. So went from any issues give me a call to I didnt report within 24 hours so im sol. Won't recommend to anyone. Very disappointed

They wouldnt leave unless I gave them a 5 star review. The guy was getting super upset about where to put my furniture. They tore my bed and ripped my sheet. Super disappointed.

The movers arrived exactly on time and made the entire moving process smooth and stress-free. They worked incredibly fast while being very careful with all of my belongings. In fact, they even refused to take breaks because they wanted to finish the job as efficiently as possible. They came fully prepared with mattress covers, TV protection, and all the necessary equipment to move everything safely and professionally.

We had Deomas come and move us from our overstuffed little home to our new big one. They worked for 8 hours non stop and were so kind and patient with my kids around the house during the move. They were very efficient at disassembling the furniture and reassembling it at the new place. They helped us pack some items and were very good at communicating what we needed to do to keep things speedy. The movers were friendly and easy to talk to.

I highly recommend this company, they were great to work with. Extremely accommodating & very understanding. It was awesome to see a father & son working so hard together & doing a fantastic job! They were also very personable & enjoyable to talk to throughout my move. They didn’t hesitate when I mentioned, EIA would be paying for the move & actually offered two other companies for me to contact as I needed 3 quotes for my worker to be able to process the request & get it approved.
