Total Moving Winnipeg

I used Total Moving to move furniture between houses. Initially, communication was quick and easy. I gave a list of the items needing to be moved and noted that I would need disassembly and assembly, and there could be some extra items as well. Kevin sent a quote including time for disassembly/assembly and noted that extra items would have an additional charge based on time.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with this moving company was nothing short of disastrous. I feel compelled to warn others against using their services. Despite sending three workers, only two were actively working at any given time—the third spent most of the day on his phone or engaging in unprofessional behavior, including chasing one another around my yard. Their lack of professionalism was shocking and completely unacceptable. The move was grossly inefficient.

Terrible place to send your packages to Brazil. My package never arrived, they offer no support or satisfaction. This star rating doesn't reflect their work. Before you deliver the package, they are dedicated, but afterwards they don't even want to answer your call. And another thing, they give you a tracking code and then take the website offline! Be careful, never total moving.

Our move experience was okay; easy to book and the crew did a pretty good job. The reason for the 1 star review is the poor follow up and after care experience offered by Total Moving. One of the items was damaged during the move (pure accident, it happens, we purchased insurance to help protect against this). The crew did the right thing, called the office and sent in pictures when it happened so the office was aware. There was no follow up to us, instead we had to chase.

Wasn’t gonna leave a detailed review but hired Total Moving approximately 4 months ago and we had recently helped a friend move with another company with a drastically different experience. In comparison, Total Moving’s moving crew assigned to our move was not that professional and a bit upsetting upon review for the price we had paid. Crew is young as seen on website but they do look a few years older in-person. Average, not highly experienced.

I won't recommend - Paid for two hours of moving, and I got 32 minutes of work. I booked a move within the same building (different apartments), my estimated quote said : 0 for travel time. Then I booked 2 hours, more than enough for moving my furniture. The team arrived at the building at 09:20, took a few minutes to park the unnecessary oversized truck, and entered the apartment at 09:28. Based on this, I reasonably expected to have your staff available until at least 11:20 AM.

Total Moving - Try TOTAL MISTAKE!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Save yourself a LOT of money and hire a few teenagers that you personally know. Total Moving sent me 3 teenagers and a 21 year old. There is NO way that these teenagers were trained (and the 21 year old should have been shadowing at least 2 VERY experienced movers, for a LONG time, before ever 'supervising' an inexperienced crew on his own). What a joke. Except no one was laughing.

I hired Total Moving when my daughter was moving from one storage locker to another. It took their 3 guys 3 hours to do LESS than what 2 guys did in 2 hours from another company. Unfortunately, they were not available so I hired this useless company. The other company (2 guys) dismantled a queen bed, removed a mirror from a dresser and took apart a sofa. They had 5 steps to climb from the lower floor to the front door. They got the move done in 2 hours.
