Dependable Moving Company - Moving & Storage Service | Local Movers Lakeland FL

My first red flag should have been the booking process, which I had to call and call and call to book. Then, the guys disappeared for an hour during the move stating, “It’s a 3-hour minimum either way”. After my move, I saw that they busted up my furniture. I received no information on how to file a claim, no receipt, no response from the said owners. I would NOT recommend this company to live my trash. They are HORRIBLE!

These guys are highly unprofessional. Two guys showed up 15 minutes late. I let them in and one immediately asked to “take a leak”. I’m no prude and grew up around construction guys so the language doesn’t offend me as much as the setting it was used in. As a company you don’t walk into someone’s home and talk like that. On top of it they tried to bilk more money out of us by saying that they were only supposed to move a one bedroom home.

They underestimated my load so when they came the cost went up $2500 from original cost. I was originally told I would be getting called with regular updates but instead I had to call, leave messages, and finally someone called me back. I told Julie I needed my stuff by a certain date and of course that didn’t happen. I’m the end I waited 7-10 days after that specific date.

They came late stating they were busy that day, which okay fine, I'll accept that. They were very polite and helpful so I have no trouble with that. However they completely smashed a corner in my new apartment in a very obvious spot. I heard it happen but neither of them said anything about it. Very upsetting to have such a large scar on my new painted walls.

I rarely write a poor review, but this company deserves it. I hired Dependable Moving Company to move outdoor decor after my daughter's wedding ceremony, and they were anything but dependable. Despite calling me days prior to confirm the specific date and time because they knew how critical the timing was for the ceremony, they were a complete no-call, no-show. I had to call them myself after waiting 20 minutes, and again after 45 minutes.

My family hired this company to help move, and it was nothing but trouble from moment one: the movers were rude, cracking jokes about family belongings and throwing things down cement steps instead of carrying them, saying they were "too heavy" Brand new boxes were torn open and items repacked in dirty, used boxes to add packing fees. What didn't just go missing entirely ended up arriving broken. Pictures packed with hardcover books, fragile statues packed with pots and pans. Dependable? Yeah, sure.

Dependable Moving Co. Was two and a half hours late, all the while I thought they were doing a good job they really were giving me the shaft. The hanging cloths boxes had clothes stuffed down in it and the clothes hung up on top to look nice. We had packed almost everything so there wasn’t much left to put in boxes yet they charged us $197 for boxes and paper. I’m really disappointed with this company!!

Hired dependable moving 12/23/21 and I had damage to a price of furniture called them and they told me how do we know you didn’t have a party and break it yourself. I’m appalled at this and that they don’t own up and fix it. I also ended up with the flu and was in bed for 3 days so didn’t notice it right away. I was told that wasn’t there problem.
