I had an absolutely terrible experience with Detroit Moving Company! During my recent move, my Diamond necklace came up missing! Which was not misplaced but stolen. I packed it myself and knew exactly where I had it!! but it was gone after the move. I reported this immediately, to the owner ( was helpful) and the Novi police department. I am now in the process of suing this company. If you have no valuables this is a good company to move but if you have valuable things at your place find another company.

We have moved 4 times in the last ten years - big moves and without a doubt William and his team are awesome. Careful, hardworking, trustworthy and most importantly - treat your belongings as if they were theirs. Zero damage to all of our stuff and new home - unloaded 3 trucks. Stellar job! Will and his 5 movers worked non-stop for 7 hours. Amazing and a fair price. Best in the business and responsive. Last benefit - fun to work with. Net - hard to find anyone better!

This was one of the best referrals I’ve ever received. They arrived five minutes early, were extremely kind and polite, and even brought shoe covers to protect my home. My furniture is very heavy, yet they handled everything with exceptional care. There was no damage to any furniture or walls, and they wrapped and secured everything thoroughly. I truly appreciated how seriously they took protecting both my home and my belongings.

Could not possibly put into words how awesome Detroit Moving Service is. William and Jay are the ultimate with their professional moving assistance. Wife and I had purchased a dining room suite on Marketplace. It was a very expensive RH set. Believe it or not it had a concrete top that was 7’ long. 300+ pounds. William and Jay showed up at the exact time we did. Talk about punctual! Turns out, they had moved this particular suite into this house before. Talk about experienced!
