Ultimate Movers

I decided to go with this company because it had good reviews but my experience with them was not good. The movers broke my dressers that are apart of my bed. The SHOVED the drawers into the wrong sides crooked so they were sticking out so I tried pulling them out to put them in correctly and the barring's feel out on the floor. I contacted them and sent pictures the next day to inform them of the problem. I didn't get a response so I then called them the following day of sending the pictures.

I met up with Ultimate 2 movers with a truck. I arrived there in my car at 2:40pm Sunday May 5th, 2024 They were 2 cars behind me. Red flag they wanted to get paid at 2:40pm sitting on the behind not yet in the old storage gate. 😳. They did everything fast and took a 15 minute break but didn't communicate when they were going to start. So, they began in 10 minutes instead of 15😳.

I was hopeful I would have a good experience with Ultimate Movers, but if I’m being honest, I would not recommend them. I provided a fairly detailed listing of items and specifically mentioned I had more than 25 boxes. I was quoted a flat rate of $699 for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom move. The crew showed up late, and upon arrival asked me why I didn’t request 3 crew members. With attitude. Excuse me, it’s not MY job to staff the crew.

JANUARY 2026–SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO HOME (and likely dryer unit) Hired these guys to move furniture into a brand new build. Gouged parts of walls on multiple floors, gouged the wood of a railibg and, we’ve recently come to suspect, cracked multiple spots of the dryer door. The owner to his credit sent someone out to make things right, but the drywall repair work is patchy and uneven. In fact, the wood repair guy who came to fix the railing repaired a drywall gouge he saw in his area and did a better job.

2 guys showed up felt really really rushed. I let them know to take their time but they didn't. They didn't bother tetrising anything, just threw it all in the containers. 2 guys showed up were not friendly and again unprofessional, despite me even offering them food and drinks. They were also very reluctant to wrap everything and then put the padding in them and wrap them again i had my back turned for a few minutes and they just shoved everything in the uboxes.

The whole experience was terrible. I have 0 box and empty furniture. It took them 4.5 hr to just move a home of 1200 SF with 2 beds. The movers are working super slowly and sleepy all the time. They said they were up late last night and they have to postponed the moving time from 9am to 11am. The schedule is running late and they somehow messed up their truck in the morning and the moving work is paused for 2-3 hr to fix the issue and they end up rented an Uhaul to continue. We provided them cold drinks.

My husband and I had scheduled a move with Ultimate Movers LLC, three weeks in advance. We were told the company was down a mover the day of our scheduled moving, and they would have to call us back. We didn't hear from them for over an hour on an update, so we called and texted many times. Finally, I received a text that said it wasn't looking good for them to show up today based on a lack of movers for the 2 man job. I can definitely understand that things happen, and employees get sick etc.

*Must READ* This company came highly recommended and I HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT WORKING with them. My reasoning is I had an appointment and communication with Lloyd was perfect until the day of The move. I was provided a timeframe of between 4-7pm. Around 2 I was made aware That the truck size I had reserved was stuck in Ohio and it was suggested that if I could move some of my items my self that would be helpful. I understand that sometimes things occur so I was fine with that since the 16ft truck was available.
