TLDR: Don't hire them! late, faulty quote, unfinished move, caused damage, fought our claim for repairs FULL REVIEW: After getting multiple quotes and reading reviews, we decided to hire a company that does both moving and storage for our moves – we had a temporary address between selling/buying houses. Diamond Moving and Storage was in a similar price range for both services as other companies and, at the time, reviews were a bit higher for them than the other companies we researched.
Mark salesperson charged more CAD compared to other moving companies in the market, stating that they will deliver the shipment early. But after shipping, there were no any communication and our shipments did not arrive on previous confirmed date. Tried calling Customer care, representative was rude and did not provide any information on when our shipments would arrive.

We recently moved after 13 years to a New home. We contacted this company for their moving services. The rates and service offering seemed well. So we booked. The booking was confirmed through Mark at HQ. However the actual moving service was horrendous!. There was a communication challenge as the movers did not speak English very well. So directing them was a big challenge.

Hired them to move me this past weekend.. horrible horrible experience. They were late and when they finally showed up it took them 45 minutes to start moving from the start time . They said 3 movers I only received 2. They scratched my walls and my furniture then argued they didn't do it . They admitted they broke a dresser ( not fixable) . The dresser was new 10 months ago and paid over 699 for it and they took 100 bucks off the bill. The one mover had his friends pull up and they were smoking weed.
I was Verbally attacked in my home by one of the workers. They moved things that were trash. Not what were supposed to be moved. Then The guy threaten to push me through a window... The Buffalo location is Totally Unorganized and unprofessional. As for the Higher ups. Sad Crew of People. I m a customer. They were paid for a job they didn't complete. I had to finish myself. ... I would NEVER AGAIN Use Diamond And there wrecking crew Again...
The experience I had was unreal mainly with how they operate their moves. As it was an inconvenience for me to move on the desired day I wanted to move. Instead I had to go with what they had available. When I went weeks ahead of time to get help with my move. Secondly the movers where cool but the moved stuff I couldn’t move back on my own and left behind there own door stopper. When they only had 1 in the first place.
Very bad in all honesty. I was supposed to move in yesterday, and when they arrived at my APT they told me that They dont have time today because a partner was going to devote himself to his partner's birthday. They promised me that They gonna come today, and they did not. Honestly they are very badly educated, I DO NOT RECOMMEND them at all. They promise you something, and they do not fulfill it.
We have moved many times, often across countries and continents. Our experience with Diamond Relocations has become an absolute nightmare. Our agreed upon date for delivery of our goods is 21 May. I called numerous times to confirm this and …
