When they movers arrived they smelled like marijuana and had a truck that was too small for the contents of my home, so they had to order another truck which cost me more. On the delivery date it was raining so, the movers refused to unload saying that it was unsafe. But the company insisted on them unloading, so they rescheduled for the next day, yet they still charged me for the day. When they arrived and started to unload my belongings, I noticed several things that were damaged.
I disliked my experience with Dielman Moving, and I will never use them again. Nor will I allow anyone that I know to use them either. One of the employees who moved my family was a supervisor, and he was more than the most unprofessional individual I have ever had the displeasure of meeting, he was a complete creep! Throughout the 5 hour span that he was in my presence he continually made me feel uncomfortable.
Beware of Hidden Fees and Misleading Practices - I recently hired Dielman Movers to help move a few pieces of furniture. While the moving crew did a good job, my experience with the company left a lot to be desired. There were several undisclosed charges and misleading practices that I feel need to be shared. First, the company does not tell you upfront that the clock starts when the crew leaves their lot and ends when they return.

Terrible Movers came into my building Stole $12,000 and now will not give insurance information. Said they is not liable because employees were on break
The packing for the move was good, when I received my items approximately 6 months later, I discovered Damages to many of my items. The owner broken an expensive mirror , tried to repair it with glue, and never notified me. (he did send it to the House of Denmark for proper repair after I had a fit) I’m still discovering damaged items. He was paid over $10, 000 for storage and moving.

charged $800 to move just a few pieces of furniture maybe a mile away. showed up unannounced outside of the time frame promised so we weren’t prepared which wasted more time and money. they worked slowly and took THREE HOURS to move literally 10 pieces of furniture. also, when i called to let them know that they showed up unannounced, the woman on the phone wanted to argue with me and raise her voice at me. please save your money and use another mover. i’m genuinely nauseous about how much money we wasted.

The movers did arrive on time and were polite. However, when loading the truck they asked which of several items I wanted to take and leave the others as the truck wasn’t big enough. When they arrived at the new location, they couldn’t wait to get out of there. They did not put the beds together correctly and hid two bed rails in the closet. The beds were not in a condition that would allow someone to sleep on them. A couple of pieces of furniture were left in the garage.

We made a 30ish mile move recently and had two days. The first day was 10-8:30pm with two trucks. The second day was one truck and only part of a day. The first day review: The crew we had was: Charlie, Nick, John, Tony, Bryce, and Q. They were amazing! They treated both houses with great care. They were professional, kind to our kids, and trustworthy. They seemed to have a really good system with communication with each other and a work ethic like you wouldn't believe.

I was struggling trying to find someone to move an item (that weighed approx. 400lbs) from 20 minutes away to my house and into the basement. Every company I contacted wanted an arm, leg, and first born child to move it. This company offered a reasonable price, on call 24 hours, and showed up same day. Communication was consistent throughout the whole process. 2 guys showed up with my item, the second they ran into an issue they made a phone call, and the owner shows up to my house 5 minutes later.

After another moving company failed to show up, I was scrambling to find help at the last minute. Thankfully, Charles and his team came through. Charles was fantastic to work with—he was prompt, considerate, communicative, and took what was an incredibly stressful situation and made it feel stress-free. Hired Dielman Moving & Storage to move out items from our apt, store for us × 1 mo at their facility, then move our belongings to a different apartment complex, the middle of June.
