DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I hope you read the poor reviews on this company and don’t use them! These movers damaged my washer and refuse to pay! The movers were so rude! They lied about time therefore over charging me. When moving my things into storage they sat stuff on top of my washer and broke the lid. They claim they can’t do anything about it because the things sat in storage so long. They were the only company that moved the items but they deny doing it.
As we discussed your move was a year and a half ago around Oct 2021. You told us you had someone else move your items to your new location in Dec 2022. It is now March 2023. We cannot file a claim this late and someone else already moved the items as well.
I was recommended this place from a coworker which stated she paid $300 to move from out of town to in the city. I called and asked before contracting them to move a piano from 1 house to another in the city and how much it would be. The lady i spoke to told me $130/hr which seemed resonable because i knew it was going to take about 1hr to do the move from the pick-up to the delivery.
As we have discussed we have a 2 hr minimum and a 1 hour trip charge. This is clearly stated on our contract that you read before we did the move. AFTER the baby grand piano was moved from North OKC to South Okc you stated that you are only paying $100.00 for the move.
Horrible after the sale service! They won’t take responsibility for anything they break and leave you feeling used! They charge too much and be prepared to pay $200 for their lunch! Integrity is lacking for this company and I will never recommend them or use them again! This move cost me double what I paid last time and you would think if you paid someone $1,500 they would at least own up to their mistake!!! They broke my leather electric furniture and will not take responsibility for what they have done!!

We used them in 2017 and they were awesome. Polite, efficient. Used them again in March 2021 and they were terrible. Slow, uncooperative and unfriendly. Took them about 3 hours longer than it should have, which cost us around $400 more than it should have. We were scheduled for the afternoon, they had a cancelation and ask if they could start in the morning. Still took them until dark to get done. It was like they were trying to stretch ours out to make up for the one that canceled

The owner or whoever I spoke to on the phone was really nice. But there was one mover who griped the whole time. He was hateful and rough with our things. He almost knocked my elderly mom down and didn’t apologize or anything. Rude!!! No sense in telling them don’t want to argue. I waited awhile before posting this but we moved at the beginning of 2022. Had to get scratches on wood furniture fixed and had to buy two new bed frames cause they were so rough. I would not recommend.

Wow Y'all....I am in SHOCK. I called Discount Movers for an estimate----the estimate was for them to come pack up my elderly mother's 1 bedroom apartment and to move her DIRECTLY ACROSS the street-----Their Estimate? $1,980.00!!!!! Are you Freakin KIDDING ME??????? I hired another Company SAME JOB $310.00!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED. Especially since 20 years ago I was good friends with the Owners son (perhaps it was the previous owner)
These guys took an hour and 1/2 lunch and only took off 1/2 an hour off the time. They took so long to load furniture and I had everything wrapped and ready to go. They were rather unfriendly as well! Do not use this company. It was far more expensive than other companies.

Used a bathroom in home with no water on the clock. Not just urine. Water was turned off at meter because of leak. Michael Dodson turned water on and flooded laundry room. Did not clean up mess. Very unprofessional.

The pieces looked almost brand new, and within minutes of reaching out, Paula responded. We won the lottery with Discount Movers. They were AMAZING. Showed up on time, did an excellent job, nothing damaged. Paula, the owner was communicating with me from the time we booked and the night before to tell me they would be there and what to expect. The 3 movers were so polite and very professional. Discount Moving saved the day for me! I had booked other movers for June 30, 2018 at 1pm, I called to confirm the appointment around 12pm and they cancelled on me last minute. I called Discount Moving in a panic after calling many other moving companies who all ended up being booked, as I had a 11:59pm deadline for that day to get my stuff out of a place where my friend had let me store my stuff, however, they had got into some financial hardship and were losing the place.
Really loved working with everybody. We moved two houses into a loft apartment in Oklahoma City from Las Vegas and Washington state. We needed help with understanding our logistics and making sure that we had the muscle to move everything in a timely manner to fit our schedule (which included the delivery of a PODS container which ended up perfectly dropped near our building for easy access, but could have had to go somewhere else, and they were still prepared to help us with everything for that).
