The rating breakdown
2 of the 30 ratings in Google’s published star breakdown for Dorcy's Piano Moving Ltd are one or two star.
Worked out from 30 ratings. That is enough to publish but few enough that one more review moves it noticeably, so read it as a hint rather than a measurement.
Against other movers in Edmonton
3.9 percentage points higher than the middle of the 21 movers in Edmonton we can publish a rate for.

In their own words
They did not handle my Piano with care. Make sure you check for damages before you sign and pay the invoice as they do not take responsibility for damages after payment. Half the keys on my piano no longer function properly. I'm hoping a piano tuner will be able to fix what's happened, which is now an added expense.
Terrible experience! Asked them to put down mats and floor runners on our beige carpet since it's a snowy/wet day and they walked right in with their shoes on! When asked, they rolled their eyes and sighed and told me that they thought their shoes were dry. Even after mats were down, they walked around them on the carpets. Owner, Kevin, was there and was the one who told me they would do their best not to walk on the carpet but not to give them a hard time if they did.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Really friendly, punctual, great communication, and fair pricing. We had a piano that was old, big, and ridiculously heavy. It posed a lot of challenges getting out of our home's small entryway but these guys figured it out and took extra care to ensure our home wasn't damaged. I honestly can't say enough good about these guys.
We had a great experience with Dorcy’s. They were easy to deal with, very careful with our piano, and incredibly efficient. They were also able to fit us in quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, a smooth and professional experience from start to finish — highly recommend if you need your piano moved!
Had an awesome experience with the crew from dorcy's piano moving. Had an upright piano from the 2nd floor of my house to a new house, into a walkout basement. These guys are responsive, respectful, precise with their quote, safe but most important of all, very careful with the piano and the house as to not cause any damage. Couldn't believe how strong and fast they were. Highly recommended if you're looming to move your piano and you need it to be stress free. Worth every penny!
Very happy with Dorcys moving company. We used them years ago to move my piano from a top floor carriage home with turns and such into our new dwelling. Today, we happened upon them unexpectedly as we were moving a bookshelf (heavy, double). We asked to borrow their dolly, but they right away took it straight onto the truck for us. Thank you Dorcy's. I wont forget your kindness. Might I add, I offered to pay them, and they wouldnt take it!
