Dyno Moving

Edit: Bumping up to 2 stars. FWIW the moving company owner called and apologized. They offered a refund of the tips and indicated it was not their usual crew, a bad day, etc. We greatly appreciated the genuine apology and declined the refund. We had a terrible experience with Dyno--strongly recommend you use a different mover unless you wanted to be yelled at by the dispatcher, pay far more than quoted, and held up for extra cash at the end of the move.

Although it was an accident they dropped my piano and damaged called Alex his response was "what do u want me to do " no concern for his guy or my property I have pix of his guys at the bottom of the steps with piano on top & the damage the tuner discovered - texted and no response-

They stole my belongings and also went through my belongings while moving from one place to another. I lost important documents, my packages were oped. I will never recommend these thieves to anybody. Please don’t use them I regret every bit of it.

Horrible experience with this company… and I have been moving a lot in my life. We moved from the city to suburbs. We got an hourly rate not a fixed price. The team arrived on time but the team lead started immediately complaining that the truck was too small for the job (I gave them a detailed inventory). Turns out that it was big enough and later I saw them picking up additional old free furniture from the building without telling us and on our dime of course (hourly job).

The move itself was fine, and depending on the specific moving team you get, it’s probably a fine company to go with. Everyone will see that Dyno Moving quotes a price that is ~10-15% lower than the other companies and this (+ good reviews) is likely the reason you decide to go with Dyno. When the move was complete, the team leader STRONGLY suggested a tip of $120 a head ($360 @ 3 ppl, 1 bed move that took 2.5 hrs). This implied a tip of ~45%.

We used Dyno two years ago (2021) and had a fantastic experience so we decided to use them again for our move this year (2023) - but they have declined SO MUCH. The movers were SO SLOW and they charge by the hour. Last time they were fast and knew what they were doing. These guys seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They were on the phone, moving sluggishly. I think they were purposefully moving slow to run the clock up which is ridiculous.

I had the worst experience with this company I thought. Using. Then would be a breeze that was far from it. Came early although they said they get there at 8 which I really didn’t mind. Three guys can you tell me why they all. Doing the same thing. Them saying I didn’t give them The couch on the list I know i did anyway could get the couch out you would think they would move on I had to tell them leave it and Move on to others. Things. We finally get done.

Had hired them before and the first time was great, the price is affordable. But the second time I hired them to move out, the lead crew man seemed impatient and didn't want to be there. I understand the rush but keeping a professional attitude with your customer is just as, equally, if not more important. The company only pays them $16/hr out of the $386 in total. Low pay = unhappy employee. Obviously there's the truck fee and gas but it shouldn't be that high.
