DZ Moving

Worst moving experience we have ever had. Movers were several hours late and not to mention they broke our coffee table and did nothing about it. We also did majority of the moving ourselves while one of the movers stood in the truck. BEWARE manager/owner was very rude and unwilling to work with us in the slightest. We will NEVER use this company again and tell everyone to stay away

I am not sure where to begin. I know if I could give 0 stars to convey my experience with DZ Moving and Storage; I definitely would! The 0 is well deserved! I contacted DZ Moving and Storage to assist in my most recent move. I was told by their Office Associate or Manager the rates and given a timeframe for when I could expect 2 movers. I was told the movers would arrive at my first location in between 1-3pm. I thought it was strange that I was not emailed a contract or any documents to sign.

I truthfully wish I could give zero stars. This is a very inexperienced moving company with inaccurate quoting and poor communication. They were supposed to arrive between 9 to 10 AM, they did not arrive until 3 PM. I’m a contractor, I always give update calls to clients if we’ve encountered setbacks and it’s going to take us longer to arrive. I don’t make a client wait hours without hearing from me and then have to call me in order to get an update.

UPDATE: Talked to the place I ordered it from they said they've had 6-8 more of these types of issues with DZ since I posted this Hi! I got a message at 553 that the team was 8 minutes out and they didn't have anyone answering the phone. They were delivered to my neighbors house. The services I asked for weren't performed at they just showed up closer to 9 to fix the issue redeliver them put them together and bring them insane.

The worst experience ever. Zero flexibility in delivery. They don’t ask if morning or afternoon is best for you. They call and tell you when they are coming. If you are not there they threaten not to deliver. I had to get my 91 year old dad to come over climb stairs and open the door for them because I was at work. No flexibility. Dad said that he is not doing it again. The next delivery they wanted to deliver while I was at work. I told them no one would be at home. Delivery window was 9 to 1.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!! First, two men came to move two rooms from a sales trailer. They started at 9:15am and finished at 3:45pm. I could have had third graders move quicker and pack the items neater. Secondly, when we approached the men to pay, I noticed one of my custom signs STUCK TO THEIR DASHBOARD. These signs were packed away, so they had gone through my belongings, took the sign out, peeled the double-sided tape off, and stuck it to their dash.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used this service yesterday after booking weeks ago. Movers showed up 8 hours late, and 1 was injured. Did not complete my move until after 10 p.m, did not unwrap furniture, chipped a table, were unable to build any beds, could not get furniture in my basement-never tried to take legs off. I could go on and on. My babies had nowhere to sleep last night, and I had nightmares feeling like I was robbed. I hated even paying for such an unprofessional service.

The ABSOLUTE worst moving experience ever!!!! They were scheduled to arrive at 10am but showed up at 6pm!!! No call!! When I called them the owner kept saying the job they were on before mine was taking longer than they planned. But 8 hours???? I had no choice but to use them because my lease was up that day. I was suppose to have 3 guys. 2 young guys and an older guy (with a serious attitude) showed up and all the attitude dude did was direct the younger 2. So needless to say there was 2 movers.
