Neutz Sons & Daughters Moving

They previously moved us so, I thought I’d use them again. This time they booked us with 2 movers instead of 3 estimating 2hrs. Well it took more than 6 hours and one of the boys put my son’s brand new nursery dresser on the wrong dolly and dropped the entire thing down the stairs. Completely shattered then proceeded to tell me they usually charge for having to toss broken furniture but, this time they won’t. To me that was just crazy to hear..

We recently hired this company to load our ABF trailer for an out of state move. Although the guys were friendly and polite I certainly can not recommend this company based on their loading of our trailer. First of all there was a good 2 to 3 feet of space left at the top of the trailer. This caused us to pay for more footage in the truck than was estimated by our shipper. Also all of our cherry wood furniture was damaged in the move (I'm talking big gouges out of the wood).

A crew from Neutz moved some new neighbors in. They blocked the alley by which we access our garage. When my wife asked if they could move, they were rude, telling her to drive around the block to come in from the other direction. After they were made to move by city sanitation workers, I saw that they had pulled the truck into the grass beside my garage, leaving deep ruts. I called the office that evening and left a message, then again the next afternoon. Neither message was returned.

Well, many months later, and we're either still finding out something is missing or broken. I don't know where to start with this review. We had used the moving company that Neutz apparently took over, so we thought we'd be as pleased with them as we were with the previous company. They are very friendly and seem to be very responsible, when you *first* meet them and start signing contracts.

On the day of my move, I had cash stolen from a money jar sitting on the kitchen counter and MY SON's PIGGY BANK was EMPTIED as well!! I have tried contacting this company and, of course, not one person has returned my call. I have filed a complaint with the BBB as well. Not only did one of movers STEAL MONEY, they broke and damaged items and hid it! UPDATE - I was contacted by the owner of the company after this review was posted.

I recently had an unacceptable experience with Neutz sons and daughters moving. The first issue as small as it was is still to be considered poor customer service. I ordered 2 garment boxes and they were not brought when they came to move me the first time. (We were moving our belongings to their storage facility until we closed on our new home and were able to move in) We were told the garment boxes were not on our contract, as if to say we hadn’t asked for them.

These people are a nightmare. I hired them to put my place back together after the hardwood flooring people I hired had moved everything out of the way to refinish the floors. One thing the flooring people did was remove the vent covers. Since I hired Neutz to do everything, I assumed they would put the vent covers back in place before moving my things. They did not bother to do so, and one of the movers stepped right in the hole while moving and left a huge hole in the plaster between the first and second levels.

**Continued from previous post Aside from my bedroom furniture there were several issues with other boxes and pictures. There were pictures that were torn. Boxes that appeared to be crushed as of stacked improperly or as though they had toppled over on the truck. I had a blue 30 gallon plastic container come back with the lid completely broken in half. How do you justify returning people’s belonging in such a pitiful condition?
