ILS Relocation

The boys who moved us were very nice and did the best that they could, please give them their $20 bonus that they really wanted. Unfortunately their leadership sent them with no box cutters, runway covers, or clear instructions to unpack the boxes like the company was paid for. The Japanese company that packed our household goods were amazing, super clean, and professional movers.

No delivery window the day before. I had to call the morning of just to get an estimate and was told 11am–1pm. No show. At 1:08pm I was told “soon.” At 3:00pm I was told the truck was already at the Fort Knox main gate and would be there by 4:30pm. At 5:09pm the actual driver called and said he was still 35 minutes away, so apparently the Fort Knox main gate is less of a place and more of a philosophical concept. At 6:22pm after I’d spent the entire day waiting on my own belongings, they showed up.

UPDATE: The company name was “Lynn Storage/Moving” in 2020 (which has horrible reviews) and has since been changed to ILS Relocation. Upon further investigation, it seems that employees of the company intended to steal our items from the start. The weight tickets associated with our NTS showed that the weight of our shipment was taken over a full month after it was picked up from our HOR. The estimated weight was 2000lbs but the weight ticket indicates 600lbs.

Where to start…: Found a packer (employee) sleeping on my guest bed downstairs. Numerous boxes needed repacking because you could hear how loose and not wrapped the stuff in the box was. Didn’t adhere to what was identified as pro-gear from the walk thru and then the lead packer signed the digital inventory and told me it couldn’t be updated…and wouldn’t do anything to fix it.

This company completely traumatized me. These 5 star reviews have got to be fake because this company was an absolute disaster to deal with. Let me walk you through my experience. June 10th: first day of packing. Sent two very good workers. June 11th: send two different workers and they were horrible. One of them was so lazy and he played on his phone for hours at a time. I would hear him in the restroom scrolling on tiktok. He did not finish the inventory like he was supposed to.

Do not try these people. I repeat, do not try these people. I left kentucky about 3 weeks.Ago and moved back to michigan, they had my property for about two weeks.When my property arrived, it looked like someone just threw it in the back of the truck.What they did was repack my things into another truck, and had somebody to bring it out.The person came was all by himself.He had no help to unload the truck.I had to unload my own things off the truck.And once we started unloading, I discovered damaged property.

Not only did they arrive a day late after they forgot to tell me they would not be showing up on the day of the move. They then took two days to pack what took the downloading team an afternoon to unpack. I watched the packing team refuse to move stuff for 6 hours because the other half of the team was on another job. This was after I physically helped them move all of my boxes outside. Boxes that were labeled fragile looked like they had been used to play football with as training dummies.

Movers were decent, but one worker leaned on the unprofessional side. When backing the truck into my driveway, my fence was damaged by their truck. This broke some of the fence post as well as my driveway security sensor. The team did not communicate very well , which resulted in confusion. They left paperwork with me that they needed and requested me to fax it to them for some reason.In my case, this was for a household goods move from my time in Active Duty military, but I wouldn’t recommend going with these…
