Quite disappointed in my experience with East Side Movers. I had hired them for their 5 star ratings and how personable the owner, Tyler, was during our initial call. However, our experience on move day was anything but 5 stars. On arrival there was an extremely potent smell of weed coming from a member of the crew who assisted in the move. We have no issues with those who smoke but did have a concern when it permeated our home so much that it required windows to be left open due to the smell.

Do not rely on estimates provided by this company. Tyler's company did a VERY SMALL job for my mom and despite providing a reasonable estimate that was capped (one of the primary reasons I went with them) - still charged me over the capped amount. Tyler then offered to do me "a favor" and credit me $150 due to what he claimed was a system error, when he owes me $260. I had to mention that the credit should include the 7% tack on fee. Tyler's crew inflated the time it took to drive and move.

This company is AMAZING!!! I had hired a different moving company who ghosted me the day AFTER my scheduled move, at which point I called Tyler from Eastside Movers. I had never met him, interacted with him, or frankly heard of him, but boy I wish I had! I explained my situation to him and he was appalled. He was real, up front, and compassionate. The east side team moved my sister-in-law and her husband from one huge house to an even bigger one. They had to deal with a gun safe that was almost a ton and lots of expensive furnishings. They were perfect! They showed up on time they finished on time and there was zero damage. I highly recommend Tyler and his team.

Needed some help moving a heavy safe upstairs. Easy and quick communication via text, showed up at the exact time they said they would, worked quickly, and were very respectful and took care not to damage anything. The whole process couldn’t have been smoother, would use again.

The movers were extremely professional and friendly at the same time. They worked hard and fast. They went above and beyond and were willing to help move anything I asked. I had a home gym that needed to be disassembled and moved. The person that put the gym together put a bolt in backwards so the wrench wouldn’t fit to get the bolt out. The guys showed me how it was going to make it so they couldn’t get it apart or move it. They suggested if I wanted to cut it with a saw.
