Elephant Movers LLC

My recent experience with Elephant Movers LLC was extremely disappointing. Despite initial promises and agreements made by Amid, the owner, the actual execution of the move fell far short of expectations. From misquoting deposit amounts to last-minute changes in the number of movers and unexpected breaks, the entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional.

I was attached to these jokers through a broker who quoted me $2,400 for a move from ND to FL. I figured it was too good to be true and expected it to be increased. Whatever. The broker called and got me to agree to $5,600 a week before the move. Ok, not too bad still. Then Elephant Movers shows up... Asked me if I had a printer for THEIR paperwork. I'm like no, you are here to move everything out of my house, why would I have a printer set up?? So I had to go to kinkos to print THEIR paperwork.

If I could give this company a zero I would . I used this company about 1 1\2 years ago and the services were great . However , I used them this past Friday 10/31/2025. It was a nightmare the movers arrived late with a truck half full of furniture from another customer. Mind you , I have a 3 bedroom home . Which put me at the risk of my furniture being infested with bedbugs, roaches etc. I was told that they would have to take at least 2 trips to drop my furniture off which prolonged the time of service .

I called and spoke to Jessica to reserve a move date 3 weeks out. I told her “exactly “ what I wanted moved And to where. Jessica quoted me a price which I thought was reasonable. I was told that there would be 2 movers, a supervisor and an estimated time of 7:30-9:30. That my belongings would be delivered the same day as I was moving 2:45 hrs away. I received a call from Amid to go over the move. I told him that there was a flight of stairs about 15 steps and a decking sidewalk as I was moving to a 3 story house.

I used this moving company to move back to New Jersey from North Carolina about a month ago at the time of this writing. this is the most grimiest, unprofessional company I have come across. First and foremost, when I made the arrangement for them to move my belongings, I was informed that there would be no hidden fees. I was told the price I was quoted would be the price I meed to pay. When the movers arrived, I was charged $400 extra dollars.

I had contacted them earlier but due to certain personal reasons, I couldn’t hire them. But now everything was sorted, so I contacted back. And the LLC called me once to give all the details and then in couple mins they call me back to tell me that THUMBTACK is charging them $50 because I contacted them twice and they are not interested to provide us their services!! How rude!! Why would you even call me in the first go to give all the details and tell me that you are looking forward to get into business with me!!

Parked in my parking spot today that I pay for. When I asked how long the guy was very rude considering they parked in my paid for spot. Told me they would be done in 30 mins. An hr later still in my spot then was rude to me when I said something. Definitely wouldn't recommend if thats how they treat people. Good response but yeah your crew was very rude making comments and being unprofessional. So yeah I reached out to the tow company. Maybe if they showed professionalism things would have gone differently.

Absolutely rude! They took up 3 reserved parking spaces where people pay for their parking and refused to move their truck until they finished loading. I understand it may have been more convenient for them, but that doesn't mean you are entitled to inconvenience 3 other residents.
