Elite Affordable Movers LLC (Moving More For Less)

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Elite Affordable Movers during my mother’s recent move. This was an emotional transition, as she was leaving the home she shared with my late father for over 45 years. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism and poor service provided by this company only added to the stress. Unprofessional Behavior: One of the staff members openly criticized the amount of belongings my mother had, which was deeply hurtful.

I used Elite Affordable Movers in May for my 1-bedroom apartment move. The movers arrived on time but brought the smallest U-Haul truck (10-foot). My move was only 7 miles away and I was charged for 3.3 hours. The moving team consisted of a man and a woman. While both were pleasant and friendly, the woman struggled with heavier items, such as my TV stand, I ended up assisting the man with the heavier items up the stairs to prevent any potential injury to the woman or damage to my furniture.

Update 10/24: The buyers of our home reached out to our realtor stating that the movers didn't cap the washer and dryer valve correctly so it leaked for over 5 days into the walls, floors, etc ruining several things. They are reaching out to the company separately but this is all so unprofessional! We still have yet to hear from the owners about the issues we had. The movers that came to our home were so unprofessional. I recognize we had a lot of stuff but it took them 6 hours to load up the truck.

1 star is generous!! Worst company...booked this move month's in advance and had numerous conversations over those months on the care I needed to ensure my items were protected and handled with care. They assured me they would be but unfortunately they were not! They demolished a 65 inch TV, had damaged to a chest and dresser which were all under 1 year old, plus damaged my home that I moved out of which is on the market. They advised me the owner would call me but he never did.

Unprofessionally called me at 11 at night the night before to ask about adding an extra mover to help out with the time and I asked if this would be extra and they proceeded to say no it would be no extra cost to me. So I agreed to it because they said it would help to not go over my time limit that I had scheduled for the next morning.

PLEASE TRUST THE REVIEWS OF THIS MOVING COMPANY. I initially wanted to give this moving company a chance despite the negative feedback. I spoke with the owner, who provided an estimate and told me I would only need to pay a $100 deposit, which I agreed to. However, I faced issues with my apartment, and throughout this time, I was repeatedly reminded about the deposit, making me feel like the company was more focused on my money.

UPDATE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My wife and I have moved with MANY companies over the years due to my profession(aviation). This has been by far, THE WORST! Booking was easy, however, thats where it ends. Moving out went relatively uneventful(unbeknownst to us). Moving in(and aftermath) was a total disaster. Our move was more simplified in that we needed nothing placed or assembled due to a subsequent painting crew coming in.

I honestly don't want to give any stars. First experience with this moving company was wonderful. Second experience has left me NEVER using their service again. On the day of my move, the movers were so late I had to put another moving company on standby at the last minute because I kept getting the run around as to the timeframe the movers would be there. I ended up moving a few of the things that were on the mover's list because they were taking so long.
